I don’t understand some of these comments going on about these grandparents being surprised and not knowing they were gonna have a grandchild.. your feelings and family dynamics are not these people’s feelings or family dynamics. I remember mom told me about how I reacted to my sister's birthday
My mom gave birth in our bathroom (memories) and a few minutes later I walked in. I was only 3 and at that moment I didn't even learn how to speak. There were also a few people including my grandmother. My mom told that when I noticed my newborn sister I stood still not moving and showing disappointment like "what's going on?" "who's that?". I still remember some of that to this day so I know how my biggest enemy of all time have seen the world for the first time
