I remember training with Braulio many years ago when he was young and he was so skilful and quick back then , Is Victor still training with him .. Good to see him still at it .
During the arm triangle the guy on bottom did use the phone too ear, but should have repeatedly in quick small pushes on the top guys elbow. The brain can't handle that muscle memory 😅😅
Jeez you defended the arm triangle well man. I wonder if you actually tapped for the choke or the pressure because it looked like the arm triangle wasn't in properly.
. . . .. How. . . . How was the "folding human technique" sooo methodical?! It looked like he was casually saying, "so we can fold you this way, heft you real quick then fold you this way, fold you this way, come back for more?
Yeah, I went back and watched Braulia vs Marcelo. He is eleven years older, and bigger. ... Nah. Bluntly: Juice jitsu is not jiu jitsu. People who don’t care to associate with the people who deal illegal drugs, or take the risk to their health, or who do not have the money for it after they pay their bills practice an art called jiu jitsu. The ones who get on the juice, because they can’t deal with what jits asks of you, and takes from you, by themselves, do juice jitsu. It’s two different experiences. The ones who are, at least, open about their experience are the more honorable ones.
@@roo4051 Not really. If you watch the rolling session between Braulio and Georges St-Pierre, GSP actually manages to submit him with a kimura during the match. And believe me when I tell you that it looked like Braulio was doing absolutely everything he could not to tap. Yes, GSP is a black belt and no slouch at grappling, and he gets submitted several times as well, but the fact that he was able to catch Braulio in a legit submission tells me that Braulio would have zero chance against Gordon whatsoever.
Apparently you guys discovered jiu jitsu yesterday. It is around one decade when Braulio stopped with competitions and started to give lessons. When he was on the prime, he could beat guys like Galvao and Marcelo. Not now.
Can feel the pressure from my home.
2:24 that back take was insane
So slick!
The best Jiu-Jitsu guys never seem to do anything too flashy. The fundamentals are just perfect. Life lesson.
What moves would be considered flashy?
That head and arm control + cradle guard pass into mount
Estima made it look easy but feel like it would be hard to get it since you’re not controlling hips as much

That pressure looks absolutely miserable!

Another one that gets bigger as he gets older. Amazing! How do they do that!
He really insisted on that first head and arm from mount.
Cheers
I feel bad for anyone rolling with braulio lol
hes rolling is really controlled. everytime he is on side control, he does not even drive his shoulder to your face. lol

Wow was he in Birmingham?

Lol what’s the right term then?
@@tylerclacey rolling would've been better
Sparring: a. To fight with an opponent in a short bout or practice session, as in boxing or the martial arts.
