Great video as always. Appreciate the breakdown. Do you have a video on the drives or distortions and what pedal they’re trying ti emulate? I listen (kinda watch) these videos while running our business. So I take all of this information and apply it when I have time at home. My time at home to figure this stuff out is limited so these long breakdowns and hearing all of the differences saves me time! Appreciate you, man!
There is a PDF online that gives the reference for each block on the Headrush. Plus the look of the pedal is a dead giveaway for what it is regardless of the name.
Good idea to cover this I just seen a video the other day where the person couldn't seem to find a Basic Delay he has not had very good luck with his HeadRush unit since prime release You might have watched the same video.🤣 I have the Core and I love it what a great value.
Its not an app, its browser access on any wireless device connected to the same wifi as the headrush. Much better than having different apps for different platforms.
hi I know that a good expert on headrush mx5 I have such a problem. During recording I hear a good sound of the guitar but after recording during playback something is wrong. the sound seems to change. did you have this and can you advise something on this topic? if you record a video the answer will be very cool maybe this problem is not only mine ..
haha I just had to make a video showing how easy the delays are to dial in. I am not familiar with the SDE3000 but I do like a tape echo in front of an amp.
Can you do the Chorus pedal like you did here. Most FX I can handle. The Delay you have been a MASSIVE help here. Now the Chorus its sort of the same. Me: Do you have a chorus pedal? HeadRush: Oh we have not just one chorus, we have TEN!! Ohhoohoo AND if you click on one;; there are 20 more variants of that pedal!! Me: But is there just a basic simple one?? HeadRush: ..................
@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios I am a bit ingorant with chorus pedals in general. I never played with FX in my earlier life. just a bit of reverb or mild delay. Nowdays I really like wet effects and I play a lot of Rush stuff where the chorus completes the tone.
Truth is everyone can't just live with one amp, dirt pedal, chorus etc. They keep wanting more and more. Hence the desire to always be looking out for the next update. There are may Chorus pedals on the market but they all basically work the same. Most Rush tunes have a very slow Chorus Rate and then dial in the depth to taste. If you speed up the rate then it can acts as a faux Rotary effect. If you keep it simple they will be simple.
I think Ill be content with the Flex Prime for a while. Its plenty I just need to learn to use it and be patient for a follow up - update. At least for now until the next must have modeler comes blasting on market. The only company out there I think that can really change the game will be Line 6 with the next generation of modelling technology. Everyone else just wrapped up a long journey of development getting to 2024. So I doupt we will see anything new from anyone for a while.
I listened to the video mentioned and it annoyed me because instead of sitting there with some time and learning it, they just tossed the video out there
Glad you are now doing short time videos, straight to the point topic !
I have over 100 videos on the Headrush. They are all in a playlist for you to check out when you have time.
yup keep em under 15 minutes.
@@ultimatescalerc7151 these are different then my weekly livestream obviously.

@ haha duh, not sure why I never saw that. Very cool. Many thanks
Great content. I always sit down to go through a category and dig in but get lost in playing lol.
I play guitar for hours…… getting lost in music is my middle name.

Oh I see in the description you did see the same video.
Yeah he was having some trouble so I helped him out :)
Nice video! Does the Headrush have a comupter app for this?
Yes for the Prime, Core and Flex Prime devices.

Any SDE3000 recommendations? wet dry wet.
Delay : Tape in front of Amp, with its overdrive?

They are all simple. Before you add the pedal HR lets you choose a preset as a starting place.
