Criticising his mix is kinda not on point from kba but tbh, what else was he supposed to criticise xD. On the other hand, if you listen with headphones then u should rly honestly admit kba's mix IS actually near perfect on his tracks. Only thing I'd point out is his voice, although to me that's a minor detail...

Asking someone "what can you do?" doesn't mean anything, he doesn't need to be able to loop to understand things such as mixing. Ofc loopers will know it better but just like probably you and most ppl commenting we don't need to be better than the competitors to point out things. So pls be polite to everyone even if their opinion varies.

Robin's first round used a technique by Thorsten which is a danish beatboxer ( kba is also danish). Also kba's second round started with a technique that robin used in his wildcard few years ago.
This battle right there. When someone says that Robin should win while stating their opinion it makes sense to me and I give it to Robin. And at the same time when someone says KBA wins it makes sense too so I give it to him. I keep changing my opinion cuz its just too hard to decide, one of the best and closest battles in loopstation history

Was just Brutal and Beautiful!
yeah KBA was on another lvl that first round pure essence of the kickback is to battle and he used some of his Danish heritage on that. but i am to torn to call it. i love KBA and Robin there in my fave 3 ppl in beatbox... and the camera man for robin is one of em to... idc who wins they both kicked ass and brought 200% to these 4 rounds.... lol Esssssh
I think for the online battles since there’s no crowd, its good for them all to consider their background or at least lighting and visuals and how it matches the music, so I hope all the competitors start trying it. Robin just pushed that aspect much further than anyone expected, and makes his opponents step up their game. I think he has a good chance to win the whole thing, but I’m sure everyone else is thinking of what they could do against him if they face him in the finals, so there may be some surprises still.

But robins mixing and singing was probably better. Still another hard one to judge, I don't think it goes obviously in either direction. I think kba is pushing the limits of the mark II and the line 6
I really don't understand what people see in KBA's rounds .. it's just a spam of electric sounds.. whereas robin's compositions are world class, unique and confident.. the man has it all. And on top of it it sounds more organic. KBA should compete with DJs that's just how it sounds. Like what is the actual difference between KBA and some random DJ?
And you don't understand that people have personal music preferences. I personally like KBAs a lot more than Robin's but I would understand if Robin won this battle.
The difference is he's making the track, mix, sounds and design by himself while being in school and using a loopstation, as opposed to dj's with colossal decks that use other people's sounds and rearrange them. U clearly haven't listened to any electronic music properly if u think it's a spam of sounds, its all about sound engineering/design and mix, and KBA does that brilliantly

As I can see u initially was praising Robin and he was already the best in ur mind, so that's why ur reaction to Kba's rounds was like: "Aww it's so bad, u copying Robin and making changes of background like him aww soooo bad". Actually I think that Robin better here but I also respect Kba for his battles because he did a lot of references in his rounds and his second round was rly smart because he countered Robin's round by copying it.
