    Hello there, I will be receiving my first nutrisystem box soon!!I am excited to get started! I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your informative videos, they have been very helpful. I also love the fact the you are older than "25" , I myself am 46 and it is a different weight struggle when we are older than "25"...lol. I have 40 lbs to lose, your videos show me that it is possible and gives me the encouragement I need. I can't wait to receive my first bear!! Thank you!!😊

      It makes me super happy that you find encouragement in my videos! I will be 60 in two months and yes it is a different struggle when you are older, my metabolism has definitely slowed down but I’m completely happy following the Nutrisystem program and even though my weight loss is slower than most it’s still going in the right direction! I’m so happy that you’re getting your food soon, you’ve got this!😊❤️

      @@pamdoneen654 I also love the fact that we can eat carbs! So many people teach that you can not have carbs peri and post menopause. It's so refreshing to see that is not true. I have familial cholesterol and my cholesterol numbers shoot through the roof on a low carb plan. I need the fiber to help pull the excess cholesterol out of my body as well as the 6 small meals that help to keep my triglycerides low. Thank you for defying the low carb only for menopause myth.😊

    Can you explain again how a power fuel can also be a smart carb?
    My nutrisystem food is arriving soon and I’m eager to start. I want to make sure I understand how to utilize all the additional food that I can eat!

      Yes, it would be hard to stay on plan if hunger was nagging at you. As long as I ate every 2-3 hours and had plenty of vegetables I was able to stay on course😊❤️

    On week 6 and though down 20 I have stalled. Did not understand the use of Power fuels and Smart Carbs until I talked to NS counselor this morning. That conversation led me to RUclips and I found your channel. So much great information. I am curious are you on maintenance or do you still use their foods some and are you having success still?
    I am headed to the store now with a list from this video.

      I am on maintenance and it’s going very well, I can’t go back to the way I use to eat or I’ll be back where I started. Pay close attention to what you are learning on the program so when you get to maintenance you don’t end up gaining weight back😊 congratulations on your success!🎉 You’ve got this!!😊❤️
      PS I bought some food on À la carte when it was on sale, it comes in handy and helps me with maintenance😊

      The only place I was able to find them was Safeway but they are always out so I went onto walmart.com and found them and ordered four packages, I keep them in the freezer and they do just fine especially since I always toast them😊❤️

    Thank you for all your ideas. I am finishing up my second week. I need to make your veggie soup. So far I lost 9 lbs. I didn’t do the second week correctly. But now I think I understand the smart carbs and power fuels. Do you mind sharing how much you lost and how long it took you to lose the weight?

      I lost a little over 20 pounds, my metabolism has slowed way way down as I’ve gotten older, I had to be extremely patient but I felt as long as I was staying on the program I would eventually see success. I didn’t always lose each week but I stayed with it and I’m so happy I did. I did make two videos on Smart Carbs and Power Fuels that may be helpful for you. We are each on our own individual journey but if you stick with it and realize it will take time you will succeed and reach your goal! I wish you the very best!😊💗

      WOW 9 pounds is wonderful, great job😊 I talk about my weight loss in each weekly video, I lost very slowly because my metabolism has slowed way down but it still was doable and I’m keeping it off so Super happy about that😊I wish you the very best, you’ve got this!😊❤️

      I think I would get checked out by a good doctor, I loose very slow but for you not to loose anything especially your first week makes me think something is off❤️

    You say you get three power fuels a day but nutrition system says you only get one. I am now confused. Is there more than one option I am missing? Love the baked pita chip idea!

      They do have variations on the plan depending on how much weight you have to lose and how active you are. I’m allowed three power fuels and one smart carb. Are you thinking of smart carbs when you say you only get one? It may be good to call one of the counselors at Nutrisystem to find out more about your particular plan. I wish you the very best!😊❤️

      @@stephanielewis414 I don’t keep track of the calories, in fact I didn’t use the NUMI app. I used paper and pen but I think the app. Would be helpful and I hear from others that they find the app. Helpful for not only tracking food but also excersize😊❤️

    Thank you! This is so confusing, the terminology, tracking grams, calories etc. I am on wk 2 of ns and it is not going well. The hot pockets are bland, too many carbs for my taste. I think I will just eat regular meals just less.

      I’m sorry to hear it’s not going well for you😕 Once you get use to the program it gets easier. You don’t need to track grams or calories, just eat the food you are allowed to eat and lots of vegetables and that is it. But it does take time to get the hang of it, I wish you the very best😊❤️

    I just finished my first 5 days of eating nutrisystem, so far I've lost 5 lbs but stomach has been upset every since I started. Is anyone else having issues? If so what did you do?

    ok, NVRMd I just googled it and found a 4 page printable-life changing. I'm so happy. Printed the list and will post in the pantry. I have marked bins for my Husband and Myself as we start this weight loss journey together.

      @@pamdoneen654 no, a list of foods under each catagory. So: Power Fuels and all the foods and amounts
      Smart Carbs: and so on...
      hope that explains.
      it was a 3 page one and was perfect. I printed it out and really use it to quickly check amounts and Can I have it or Not..and under what it would fall. Until I program my brian its helpful.
