- Brought a very cheap Mitsubishi I-miev with a few problems and this was one of the problems fixed.
Basically tested and found the bad cell and replaced it.

I Love the long version because i need to do this same Job and all the details are essential information for my success...
But the short version is great for curiosity
If you were to do only one or the other, a short versus a long I'd rather you do the long video. I can always skim through it realizing it's the long version. But then when I go to do it myself I literally benefit from the long version a lot.
I repaired my 2006 Prius last year , one bad cell. Bought a cell on eBay replaced the bad cell. So far so good just over a year and still 48 mpg.

SUper interesting video. It would be nice to have a little more background on what the initial problems are and how you managed to trouble shoot it and fix it . It looks like you have the MUT 3 also which I guess helped. This video is great to see the mechanical side of changing a cell. I agree with the others that a little more explanation of how you located the bad cell would be usefull also where do you get a replacement cell from?
I think I would do the testing of the Batteries in an emptier state of charge.
The higher the voltage, the better balanced are the cells.

Hello, I have a 2012 imiev and bought suprisingly 2015 battery (should have been also 2012 one, but isn't). It seems like it is almost the same, but there is one different connector on the battery. How bad is that? Is there any solution you know about?

Nice video. It would have been nice to know what you were looking for when you were measuring with the volt meter. What made you decde to pull that particular battery bank?
All bank were similar volt range except for the one pulled was 23volts.
Where did you get the replacement cell from ?

I have a few questions 1 wasn’t this battery pack under warranty ? 2 it looks like you have done this before ? 3 with the factory or a good after market scan tool could you have found the fault cell ? And at the end you use a software on a laptop what is it ? And what do you use it for ?
With app it is possible to detect lowes cell, but app is not shoving where it is. So you have to seek it and then replace. With laptop it is possible reboot BMS. 😁
Is it nessesary to reboot the BMS? Does The Car Marks a Error Code?
you pull the bad cell just like on any lipo for rc models... then replace..

Thats stupid to put hybrid battrey under the car all hybrid car battrey on the trunk make it easy to replace it for any ony one when the battrey went out how match will cost the shop to replace it for you ???!!!😤😣😫
It's not a hybrid with a tiny battery. The weight of a 13kWh battery in the trunk would lift the front wheels off the ground. Duh !
