It’s good to see hands there, but we have four other senses. As a chef I was eternally grateful my first and greatest mentor was Italian and he taught me to use all five senses.
Your bench scraper looks very sturdy. I recently bought a metal one and it’s basically sheet metal lodged in a wooden handle. It even rattles if I shake it. How should one buy these things online without being sure how the quality would be?
Man, this makes me miss pastry so much. I love going in alone in the mornings. So satisfying.

So... where can I acquire hands?
My five essential tools:
1. Pot
2. Wooden spoon
3. Strainer
4. Cheesecloth
5. Bowl
You need these five things to make Doritos consomme.

Look for one with a tang (where the metal is solid through the handle). That’s the easiest way to ensure stability.
