Hey bro im having a problem. I have an asus tuf gaming laptop and i dropped it to which the screen broke. After that i bought a new screen based off the model but now there is no display but it turns on with the fans and what not. I tried to run a full reset from taking out the cmos and regular battery but it didnt work.

If you try turning on the computer after removing the main computer battery, does that help? Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?

Hey I’m not sure if reaching you this way is the best, but I’m trying all these steps but my pc starts up and completely freezes. When get into the preparing repair start up and the circle completely freezes. It just shows “republic of gamers” then below the circle is frozen, it allows me to do nothing.
Update: i got into my pc by clicking start up in EZMODE, i then restarted it because i was told to do so and it’s back to freezing even if i boot it back in ez mode again.

I have a question my laptop showed a blank screen and a moving cursor before i logged in i tried to reset it but it kept showing there was a problem during reset i pressed f2 on my dell laptop amd i performed a data wipe since i thought it would fix the problem (big mistake on my part) now windows boot manager isn't showing when i click on uefi. now it's showing no boot device found ,is there something i can still do 😢😢😢😢

Are you able to access BIOS at startup and find any Repair or Restore options? Also, was the computer turning on and working well before the attempted reset?

Sometimes it will start but the screen often stays black.
I screwed up trying to clone a drive. I'm A+ certified, so I feel like a complete dumbass.
Now I get an inaccessible boot device trying to boot to either drive.
Part of me wants to die. I was just trying to do what I thought was a simple job. I originally tried Clonezilla, but the process was painfully slow so I then used Macrium Reflect.
This is a Windows 11 Home machine. Bitlocker is prompting me for recovery key. I disabled secure boot and the PC cannot detect boot files.
I don't want to do a system recovery as that would wipe off program settings. I saved the data files on the target disk.
All because I followed these steps to make the new drive active:
Assuming you are logged onto your current OS:
bcdboot d:\Windows
bcdedit /set {default} description "Boot from Current"

I have dell vostro 14 3000 , no hdd issue , it has uefi mode only, my boot sequence has windows boot manage, uefi toshiba mq04abf100, ONBOARD NIC (IPV6), ONBOARD NIC (IPV4). please help

@@PC_Monkey I have tried all of that as well. I am installing or at least trying to install the an OS fresh no backups or anything, the SSD is new and it passed all the tests. It just does not want o to boot any OS for whatever reason. I even changed the CMOS for a good measure and nothing

Everyone here has a problem. i do as well, fairly serious. AW m17 r4 - after cloning the drive to an m.2 - Boot Loop. Tried 2 different m.2 slots. The m.2 is a 4000GB Crucial P3+ gen 4 Nvme(# 2, #3). New one on me, anyone seen this before ?
Clone may have errored. Can you try a new install on the new SSD instead? Will that work?
@@PC_Monkey reformatted partition and assigned drive letter Z as to avoid conflicts for testing. Merely having this card in any of the pcie slots and the pc goes into infinite boot. Preformed system tests - All Passed. It can see the card externally but internally causes boot loop. This card works in my other pc but not the Alienware
