When I was four years old, in 1940, my father brought me and my brothers up the cog railway. I don’t remember the exact scenery, but I am delighted to go to the top of Mt, Washington again. When I was at Dartmouth, my roommate hiked up there with the Outing Club in February and stayed overnight in a tent, and nearly froze to death. Thank you for screening this!
I love it! I was a little bummed this day that I was a little too limited on time to get to the cogwheel. Thought it might make a good video - sounds like a good excuse to go back!
I ain’t gonna lie…I haven’t mustered up the courage to drive up Mt. Washington and after watching this video and the next one I’m streaming (the unavoidable descent), it’s definitely not gonna happen. Thank you though. I can live vicariously thru you and proudly say I’ve been to the top of the mountain! Next time you’re up there fetch me one of those “This Car Climbed Mt. Washington” bumper stickers so I can brag (lie) to all my friends here in Texas. LOL 😎
I couldn't get enough! I was wishing the mountain was higher 😂 a long series of odd events made me lose my bumpah stickah sounds like I'll have to go back for 2 😂 just have to get these brakes replaced before I try it!
@sleeplessinaustin5558 nope hadn't been! I was little ashamed being from New England and taking so long to go see it. But I was definitely in my element 😂

@@MileMarker4k hahahaha. Yeah, I could tell you were either loving it or you’d driven it before or both.

This may sound ridiculous but is there anyway in and out white mts without cliff drop offs, terrified just watching
Almost all of the white mountains don't have the drop offs like this. It's really just this one road on mt Washington that has such extreme drops
@@MileMarker4k thanks, might attempt
