I can't imagine overcoming the grief of losing my husband. I don't know what that change will look like. I just don't have much hope of victory in this life. I know victories can come daily and seem very small. I will hold onto those.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. I understand. Hold on to those small victories. And try to let God in even when you don't feel it. His word is alive and changes the atmosphere of our spirits. I experienced this kind of loss and thought life was over. I told God if you want me to be here then you will have to do it. It didn't happen over night but slowly day by day letting him in even just the cracks something begin to lift. I didn't see it in the moment. That was 5 years ago now. Sister, i don't know how the word works but I know it does. I'm still alive because of it. I pray you peace comfort and the love of God to surround you and mend your broken pieces. My heart to you, beloved. And I'm believing for your healing. 🙏🤍 God bless you.
Thank you for these words! I also have lost my husband in 2021 and I am struggling with how to keep going. 😢 he was my best friend and he passed at 55 yr old. Oh how I miss him! I continue to trust God but it hurts so much and the days get long….😢

Wow, I am listening to this right now and I cannot help but cry. For me it started with my so-called father raping my mother. Welcome to my 9 months later birth. Most wanted to abort me. But my mother did not. I have made so many very stupid decisions. But GOD did not leave me. HE guided me to join the Marine Corps. Again, HE did not leave me. I was not supposed to make it out of boot camp. But I did. Throughout my who life, I was not supposed to be where I am. Since I have started to be listening to GOD, I have been the happiest I have ever been in my life. Now GOD sends people to me to minister to them in my small was. Then I send them to the true pastor. Thank your FATHER, thank you JESUS, and thank your HOLY SPIRIT.
Glory, Amen. You were born to help lead others to our Heavenly Father...Give God the Glory 🙏

For those who believe in the power of prayer please pray I get to worship in person with my kids on Mother's Day, Easter and my son's graduation. My mom said we can not do both the graduation celebration and mother's day because they fall on the same month. My aunt said I have to choose between Easter and mother's day to have my kids because she is not giving them to me both days. They are 8 and 10. I'm 41 but in a nursing home. Please pray about this.

This encouraged me because if I’m anything it’s powerless 😅. I’m really trying to walk in obedience in ALL areas for the first time in my life. It’s been a two year pruning period. God is faithful even when we aren’t! I have one more thing to work on, and that’s to take more opportunities to declare His name. Everyone should know I’m a Christian, and right now they probably do not! I keep to myself a lot. People don’t know a lot about my private life, but I can do better!! I will do better!!! I want to overcome the tendency to give up. Faith is hard work lol. It sounds crazy but it is. I really feel like I’m striving to get closer to God. The type of consistency and faithfulness that is required is not something that comes natural to me. I don’t have time to wander through this wilderness, circling the same mountain, so I’m taking my walk seriously. I don’t want to lead people astray, or for them to think I’m a hypocrite because I mess up every now and then…and really, that’s my fear. I don’t care what they think of me at all, but I don’t see myself as a qualified representative, and that’s my struggle. I want God to get me right first. But I guess people need to see the process - not just the outcome.
God doesn’t call those who are equipped he equips those who are called.
You don’t need to be “right” or perfect first.
Who you are & just how you are is the reason God wants to anoint you!
It’s all about the journey, not the destination!
