Disney Remakes, Awful or Amazing!?

- With the Little Mermaid Disney Remake about to be released it is a good time to consider if the remakes are truly as terrible as everyone says or if they are actually good and play an important role. With Disney's reputation as well as the legacies of Aladdin, The Lion King, Dumbo, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Pinocchio at stake, is Disney making the right moves in their approach? Will the originals hold their status as being culturally relevant? Do the remakes play a larger role?
The original are better because they’re just better movies . If anyone thinks the new Mulan, lion king , dumbo , Pinocchio or Aladdin are better or as good as the original I would highly question their taste in movies . Because they aren’t even close in quality of story telling or creativity. These movies have no reason to exist except throwing more piles of money at Disneys feet
It has nothing to do with nostalgia the new one are soulless cash grabs . That’s not my fault it’s just the truth if you don’t care well that’s where we’re going to have to disagree. And that’s cool with me
Whatever the intention may be, each new version has its own audience. If a younger generation enjoys and prefers the newer version that's the one that will remain in their memory. That may be the one they will grow a nostalgic feeling for. Then again they may love both versions. Only time will tell. Agreeing to disagree is fine by me. Thank you for the comment.
