Thank you Buddy. I just so happened to take my spare down last week to spray it. After fumbling around for a few trying to catch it puting the rod in straight ( because that made sense to me) I finally figured to put it in on and angle. After wrapping up and hadn't put everything away I took a sharpy and drew on the plastic the angle it went in. I then took a white acrylic paint pen and drew it on the plastic. This way when the day comes , it's shitty out, dark and I've forgotten that I won't be fumbling around try to catch the release. Just a thought
Great Video Bob!!...Now I know why I hear a clanking noise when I drive over bumpy streets...its that damn chain...so lube should also help the noise reduction. Also, I happen to live in a state with snow, salt, rain and leaves from trees. A helpful future video might be how to expertly wash the exterior and trim of the vehicle...as there are lots of places where dirt, pollen, soap, leaves and twigs get trapped and over time contribute to rust....making a hand job much better than an AI mechanized wash?????
That Gel lube stuff would have been great to know about before working on my garage door. That said, anyone else ever found it a bit sketch that this and the thin looking chain is all that stands between your 50-60 lb wheel launching into oncoming traffic and your happiness?
@@Unb3arablePain I’m not worried about oncoming traffic. I’m more worried about the family of Pakistanis in the Toyota Sienna behind you on their way to Disneyland.
Great video! Did you use a valve stem extender to make it easier to top off air pressure without having to lower the entire thing when the TPMS sensor alarms? If so, do you have a link? Thanks!

Don’t forget to loop a wire tie to the chain to keep it from clanging

realize now I'm missing a bunch of stuff from my toolkit lol
You're probably referring to the tools to change out your spare tire. Thats what AAA and Costco is for.
Thanks. Your videos have been very helpful. Appreciate it very much. Keep up the great work. 🇨🇦
Great Video. Watched the Car Care Nut and suggested just to zip tie. Did so and no issues.
Love GX Bob and the Lexus GX community
I've reached out to Car Care Nut for him to take me on as a worthy student. But i guess the waiting list was too long.

Спасибо! Отличное видео!

You had me at this is why I choose Gel Lube... waited for a while... then I took a breath...
Get used to it. I’ve matured since last week.
Did the same but with Amsoil HD Metal Protector. Which I also used to undercoat the car as well as sprayed inside the frame rails.
Thanks for the input! Amsoil is not that popular in California.
Awesome! you can also use a 1/4" socket to drill adapter also (fits inside vs outside). Works great with my mini-impact driver.
That is excellent input! Thank you!
Bob you are the master (bater) of video lmfao
Sorry to disappoint you but I do not masturbate. Masturbaters are people who don’t have access to their younger sisters .
P Diddy liked and approved! 😂
You're comparing rust preventer to baby oil? Nice.
Amazing timing 🙌🙌🙌. My low P sensor went off the other day and I’ve been dreading F-ing around with it.
First lube I ever bought from Amazon ✊💦💪
You might want to watch this and add a tire valve extender. Knock out 2 birds with one stone.

I bought the valve stem extension for easier inflate the spare tire when needed. Somehow it leaks over time. I had to take it out.
As always, thanks for the hookup
You make it sound like i introduced you to your future fiance.
Awesome 😎
Where do you get those netted storage nets that are on the inside of the barn door?

SheeeeeeeSH!!!!! I bought a 23' and don't have some of those roadside tools😮😅

They don’t come with all tools the holder takes. I think Bob has a video on that.
A bit too aggressive with rubbing that chain. 🤔🤣
The word is lather, not rubbing. This is a family channel dude.

K-Y is better! 😂
I disagree. My dog hates it. But when i use Astroglide, he doesn't flinch.
