The picture is of imam al hussain (as) holding his infant son Ali asghar (as) who was deprived of water. His father asked the enemy to give his child a little bit of water. Instead, harmullah (La) shot a 3 pronged arrow in the little 6 month olds neck killing him instantly. 💔

    As salamu alaykum
Can anyone please explain the context behind the picture?
Why is the man in green holding a baby in the battlefield?

Husseins son is thirsty he only wanted to let him drink water, he was surrounded by yazeeds soldiers, he told them to make passage only for water but an archer shot the baby and his son died

Its Imam Hussain. They were all martyred by oppressive forces - even babies (the one you see in the photo) who were thirsty. (Frankly speaking, they all were) The man holding the baby is his father

Funny enough, the nasheed has nothing to do with Islam itself. It’s a Kuwaiti nasheed related to the Gulf War in the 90s.
