Autodesk Nastran Static Stress Validation

This video is a static stress analysis of a thick cylindrical disk under uniform radial pressure. The textbook example's results are compared with the outcome of performing the analysis in Autodesk's Inventor Nastran V2022. The model is 12" in o.d., 6" i.d., 3" height with an internal radial pressure of 1000psi. The modulus of elasticity is 30e6 psi and poisson's ration is 0.3.
