As one of M. Night's biggest fan, this probably the best host/interviewer for glass I've ever seen. His questions are my very own questions. I truly applaud this guy. He ask sensible questions compare to others. Great stuff 👌👍
I don't normally comment on videos but honestly this guy not only cuts to the chase but his quistions are well asked and rounded off added that they are brilliant. Very good interviewer man.
I finally watched Unbreakable and Split just last year, it's so refreshing to see a superhero movie like this, I've been hoping Marvel would tone their thing down for the past decade but that's obviously not happening so I'll take a superhero movie that innovates whenever I can.
You're a great interviewer. Sometimes I feel like those junkets are filled with giggling girls and non interesting men asking dumb questions no one cares about. You actually gave well thought out questions that the actors and director enjoyed.
I just remembered that Samuel Jackson is the only person to tell Jake one of his questions wasn't great lmao. But that was when he tried to make Jake say "nigger" haha.
Nah... Sam never had a problem with him or the questions. Sam himself said this. They actually became more close after that interview. They also did videos together hugging each other. It was blown out of proportion by the knife wielding media as usual"
1st was Unbreakable, which was an action/suspense version of a superhero movie, and it pre-dates marvel movies. It came out in, I believe, 2000.. Or 2001. 2nd was Split, which didn't take the idea of a superhero movie. It was a psychological horror movie, with a little bit of a psychological thriller in with it. And, it's what Night does best. He's known for making some of the best psychological horror movies, and making them right. Then was Glass, which went back to the superhero style of movies, and lost the psychological horror aspect, which is what made split work so well. Out of all of them, Split is my favorite of them all.Cause, Night kept the Beast in the dark. Which amps up the suspense and gives the sense of a threat. Not showing the beast, but only giving clues of what he is, and some of Hedwig's drawings to give some ideas. It gives the imagination a chance to run wild, which is the key to a great horror film.
2:05 When you're saying "big movies" are you trying to say "good movies"? lol Cause Split and Glass aren't any bigger than After Earth and The Last Airbender. And you're saying "the fans are excited", the true fans have always been excited for his each new film. The true fans have stuck with him and defended him all these years, while he was getting shit from the majority of people. Now everybody's acting like they're a fan, well where have you been just a few years ago?
vinícius bastos It’s on my RUclips channel - what I took down was other people ripping my video and uploading it to make money for themselves. Thanks for playing, though.
@@JakesTakesTV I looked for it a while ago and couldn't find it anywhere in your channel. Just browsed them again and didn't see it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know.

Ladies & Gentlemen, this man Jake Hamilton deserves all the awards for these questions & that swagger!!!! Kudos!!!
Another great interview! Been an avid fan of yours since 2011 and it’s awesome to see you back doing these junkets.
TheFartingMonkeys - Yes me too!! I love Jakes Takes
First saw Unbreakable back in 2001 at the age of 11 and hated it, thought it was too slow and super boring. Today, it's my favorite film of all time.
I hear ya, man. Unbreakable is very slow, but it picks up at the end. But, it does tie everything together.

Great questions as always also i love how you call everyone sir really shows you respect them
Correction! Unbreakable is the very BEST superhero movie, because it actually made me believe such people could exist.

I had forgotten about the infamous Django unchained interview.
Sam Jackson never had a problem though. It's the press that cooked it up as usual.

I really want Spencer and Anya to hook up.
