We rescued Peach a few years ago and he has become such a wonderful companion. This video shows how much we love and enjoy his company. Living with a crow truly is a wonderful experience.
He picks it off the table and puts it in his dish to eat. Well mannered. Although, we are talking about the third or forth most intelligent warmed blooded animal here.
When I first noticed the bread cubes in the water dish I had placed out for the birds I thought maybe the wind? Maybe one of the neighbor children? After some observation I realized the crows liked to "dip" and sometimes "soak" the break in water before they ate it.. I finally caught a glimpse of them in action. They would get two to four cubes .. place in water dish.. then test until it was how they liked it.. When the babies came along the parents taught them the same trick.. I absolutely love my little wild crow family.. They have been visiting me for about 4 years now..
I have watched so many videos with owners and their pet, but I cannot believe how much Kullike and Dennis spend with each of these birds, especially Peach. I have never seen birds this happy with their complete environment. Peach loves to show each of them who he really is with so much love shown to him he wants to give it back!
This is so wonderful to see. So many people (not all) get a bird and the poor thing is left in a cage all day. Your birds get so much attention and love. Thanks guys!!!!!
Most people are unqualified to bring pet home. They either think a pet is a toy for them or their kids or they neglect them. A pet animal must be treated just like another member of a family with love, respect and attention. And they will become a part of you. This family treat all their pets like their own children. A big happy family.
@@BenHayat exactly! One thing I wish pet stores would stop is selling baby bunnies before Easter. They grow up, kids get bored and they spend their life in a cage or get dumped. Pets are family like you said!
TOO COOL!!! I LOVE this video! (even my bird was watchin most of it! And, as far as tech-buttons go, my habit since my bird was 6 months old, was to play a classical music radio station (radio's on shelf beneath her rocking-chair'/perch's shelf), from around 6 or 7 pm all through the night, until wake-up time... & the several times this last year WHEN I'VE FORGOTTEN to turn it on "on time", I've walked into that room & caught her trying to push the radio buttons to turn it on! I LOVE seeing their intelligence & reasoning "in action"!
@@groucrow9709 I LOVE that story! My bird just zoomed in from the other room, & landed on my head as I type this reply! (giggle!) You know, although I've got other things takin time/attention for a while before I can get to it... I've had this idea of making special hats, for bird-owners like us, specially designed according to our birds individual likes & preferences! As I've considered the various & wild hats people have worn & adorned themselves in over the centuries, some of them I've seen I've thought, "Oooh! Peepacheep would LOVE perching on top of THAT hat!", & it got me though to thinkin about makin hats that would be personalized... maybe even with a swing on top, for birds that do like swings, maybe with several different sized & textured perches, plus "easy-wipe-off" poop-catcher material... (grin!) Ya'll wanna ponder that idea, too... & see what we can perhaps make out of it?!

I see Kullike as one of the kindest people I know....she is a great mother. Happy Mothers Day Kullike. Peach when he sees Dennis coming home gets excited because he knows the head of the house is home at last. Male bonding.
And now I have a smile on my face, thanks for this lovely glimpse into your life with your birds. You are two extremely nice people, I loved watching Peach help in the kitchen and playing with the cork. It is incredible how imprinted they are with both of you and the dynamic of your being part of their social being, especially seeing the excitement of Peach when Dennis arrived. This video in particular felt very natural and unrehearsed. Just a few minutes look into your happy world. Much love!

@@russelder9743 Hi Russ, I've had 2 wonderful sightings this morning while sitting here birdwatching with Tia. My little Anna's Hummingbird finally showed up today (!!!) and took a long drink from the feeder - so CUTE! Thrilled to see her back again because she's the only hummingbird who visits me. About 5 minutes later, I had quite a shock! That male red-tailed hawk (the smaller of the pair; the females are bigger) suddenly appeared on my patio railing - motionless and staring directly at me and Tia. He's definitely the "Darth Vader" of my bird visitors, lol. I was trying to take a picture of him but he turned and flew off! He didn't take any of the snacks I had out...not interested in mealworms, nuts or raisins. He is a hardcore carnivore. If there had been a turkey leg out there, he would have grabbed it! Interesting that, after an hour of bird watching with me, that hawk was the only bird that made Tia "sound the alarm." She is an indoor cat but instinctively knew that hawk was bad news. 😉 She stood up on the back of my sofa and let him have it #$%! through the window. That's when he took off, lol! 😄
For a year a crow comes to a tree few meters from my backyard since the back of the house is a forest, I buy him chicken hearts and livers, dog food morsels in cans with gravy and dry dog food, buy him meat , ham, baloney but mostly fresh meat I cut to small cubes, he also eat cheese and chicken , he steal sometimes food from the birds I have 15 feeders, I throw him the suets when they become small for the cages, he eats sunflowers seeds and corn dry or boiled, the treats the birds get make other animals jealous, now ducks and geese are coming because I ruined my grass by throwing patches of corn in the backyard, all the birds they see my malamute on the back balcony , they totally disrespect him as if he is not there.
I love when Kullike is playing catching with Peach - so you can see the astonishing capabilities these Raven Birds have, they are the most intelligent birds! Thanks to both of you for always taking care of the birds and showing this to all of us! Thanks out of Bavaria!
very nice to see.....its especially nice that you respect the dignity of the bird rather than just teasing him and messing with him like many people do on their pet videos, trying to get 'you'll die laughing' from their audience
It’s wonderful how you and peach have bonded. I think crows are so beautiful. I love there dark feathers and their eyes. They’re my favorite of all birds. They’re the smartest of all birds and can adapt to living anywhere. Love them.❤️❤️❤️
Finally I see someone as a pet owner for a crow. I find them to be so beautiful. A lot of people find them to be ugly or scary. I have always been fascinated by them. Beautiful story. God bless you all. Such beautiful creatures 🌹🌹🌹
I am 52 now but I remember my early childhood in the 70's. My dad had pet Jackdaw. It lived in a cage and flew around the house but wouldn't fly outside.
I just phoned my mum and she said we had that pet Jackdaw before I started school.. . (before 1972) She said the bird used to fly down to the table and pinch food off my plate when I was eating my dinner... She said I had to fight the bird else it would get to my dinner before me!!
Omg you totally changed how I view birds in general, peaches has a personality and seems trained to be in the house. Amazing! Nobody would ever think a crow could be so cool
💖 Corvids, they have panache, great elegance of line. It's beautiful to watch the empathy between you and Peach, you are so calm, kind and patient with each other. I have saved this video to watch over and over, I find it very therapeutic to experience your exemplary, courteous way of interacting.

What a sweet, sweet relationship you have with beautiful Peach! I love seeing all the things you do together, and am impressed with how calm and easy all of the other animals are with Peach too! 🥰
Lovely video. I love crows and have been feeding a pair of crows that have been visiting my avenue the past 2 years. I leave red-skin peanuts for them on my lawn. I would like to get a little closer to them but they are very wary and nervous birds. I just love watching them. They are super elegant and nimble.
Brought a crow to the vet's yesterday as he was just sitting on the road. Unfortunately, he had to be put down as his wing was broken in three places and the bones had pierced his chest. He allowed me to stroke him on the whole journey. Lovely and silky coat and he was becalmed by shock.
He picks it off the table and puts it in his dish to eat.
Well mannered.
