You can't see the "back" side of the moon from earth. The same side always faces the earth, no mater what phase the moon is in. The rotations are locked. He may know photography, but doesn't know crap about astronomy.
The production quality of this video is amazing.
I really dig his "saturation contrast" in his photos. Stunning. This guy is outstanding!
Watching this series as well as other videos on this channel are part of what gives me the inspiration to try and be a better photographer.
