I have two of those. One Krabat from 1961 (5 speed) and a Terrier from 57 (made by BolinderMunktell, the Terrier and the Krabat are identical all but the paint) Very nice tractors.
This is by name the "Krabat". Lots of them still in Denmark. It should be noted that this comes from BM, which stands for Bolinder Munktell. Transition from BM to BM Volvo to "just" Volvo. It might still be possible to replace the pistons and bushes because the engine should be similar as the car Volvo Amazone (i'm not 100% sure).
@@nicke1903 I had never seen one myself! In Kansas, farmers had a lot of Farmalls, Deere, Massey Harris and Ferguson, Fords, Case, Allis Chalmers, and a few Oliver's. The least expensive models were the most popular unless they had more than 50 acres.
Well done on the restoration Royce and Ryan! What a beauty, I'm glad it was saved!
I just bought myself one, and Im in love :)
Very unique tractor. I like the way the hood opens on that one.
Beautiful Tractor Royce and Ryan. You did a perfect restoration. I always like a Happy Ending for these old ageless irons.

In the beginning the engine seems to have been the same as the one in the Volvo PV 544, maybe later they changed it when the amazon came
@@Ufo2lol Yes, it has the b16 motor, the same as the early 544 and very early 122. nice tractors! :)

have one volvo bm 320 buster, 3 cyl perkins, love that machine!
Volvo makes a lot of excavators and off road big haul trucks for construction work. Right up there in popularity with CAT!
Oh yeah Volvo has been at it a pretty long time, there was a lot of Volvo Ag Equipment back in the day.

I just picked up a t425 today. Possible valve damage. Are these engines clearance motors?
I am in British Columbia, Canada
@@ottocoers2720 yes, definitely clearance motors. Hope you got it running. Was it green? I knew a guy who had one up there, but he passed on.
