If you have finished the Mages Guild storyline and unlocked the secret isle of Eyevea, it is also a good safe place to scry over and over, even smaller than Arteum, though the cliffs can be annoying.
Oh. And scoring for companions. Bastion loves Scrying and Mirri loves digging. If you put them on your quick wheel and switch them out, you build their rapport as well.
I was building slowly towards a million in gold, but when I got obsessed with Scrying one week, not only did I level to try, but made so much gold just grinding it, mostly in eyevea and artaeum, with a bit of wandering through other areas for variation or to take care of expiring leads. I really like doing it, it's really zen.
The good thing is: At a certain point you make enough money for the real important stuff and tis is mostly more bank storage for your account and each character. The next are repairs (and with some items not even that) and teleportation, also just in some cases. You also don't have to waste money for Buff food and goodies. One reason is that you often get good goodies as you daily "thanks for logging in-goody". The other is, just go and level your provisioning and alchemy and just lick up every ingredients you find at any time. Just level craftin, in general. There is no need for an extra crafting char, as there are now far enough skill points you an get, many DLCs ago. At a certain point you will not even know what to do with your gold, other than spend it for outfits and housing.
If I can make it to a million coins, I’m finally going to get my dream house - Coldharbour Surreal Estate. I have a Dark Elf Vampire and separately a Magcro vampire along with some dark and sinister-looking furniture that I think would be a perfect fit for that house.
Unlocking most of the wayshrines is a grind no matter how you do it. But, doing so while hunting for Antiquity leads, skyshards and gathering resources makes it a much more profitable and less grindy feeling experience. My recommendation is to just get it done. The money you make from Antiquities is decent but even more important is having those wayshrines unlocked when doing quests/dailies etc. down the road. Also, make sure you join at least 1 trading guild. The player roster gives you another way to unlock wayshringes and the guild store will give you a way to unload some of those items you pick up along the way.
I have scrying on my crafter. So I like occasionally have a relaxing time while multitasking. Just go to someplace like Auridon (quite a few wayshrines), to scry, and then use the travel to gather materials and pop into a an anchor site when it presents itself. When I've got time to kill and not looking for anything intense, it's a nice way to spend an hour or so.
The moment I see Jakeclips posted a new vid.....Instant Happiness! Video idea- there are mounts, costumes, pets, etc ... that you have to farm individual pieces for : like Sixth house robe for example. Would love a vid that listed all these costumes, pets, etc...
@@Official_JakeClips, is there anyway to "farm" or even buy/exchange the purple crystals-gems in game (or outside of it?) I'm a beginner, but seeing nice things on other players really made pe thirst for some mounts/skins/pets...and buying some crowns for Christmas could not even help me get those 😢
Thanks Jake! I knew most if not all of this but i watched it anyway because there may have been something i didnt know Also because I am one of Jake's viewers who has no guild and mostly just solos or duos with a friend (she HATES it when i call her that - she prefers "wife")
In all my time of playing this game I didn't know I could use the antiquarian eye on the hot key. Which would stop laing these tasks feel so long and tedious.
Started playing ESO just lately, and I now have watched quite a few of your vids, and liked them, but this one was definitely the subscribe & first commented one. Just funny how many good to very good content creators simply disregard the most useful 1-3 words tip that gets you started in an activity. The KEY sentence here was "Green & blue are repeatable". Just what was needed to get started without fearing to mess up the whole experiment. Thanks for your great videos Sir, keep on the great work, it's very much appreciated. 💖
im new to eso,if i lvl the scrying skill up and get mystic item can i transfer it to another one of my Characters through the bank? or is it locked to that specific character? im asking because this grind fest is tedious and i absolutely hate this mini game..so im planning on making one character that is a pure crafter and i don't want to have to lvl this skill more then once..
With all the skills for the low level green and blue antiquities - you can clear a large space. With purple and above you can use the explosions to find most of the treasure
Any tips to getting the “bonus loot”? Or is it pure luck? I try to focus on sections with the shovel 4x4 after acquiring lead or as I acquire it. But beyond that it seems luck is all.
Brand new to the game and just got the scry tool. On my first dig, I guess I took too much time and it dissapeared. When it dissapears, does that mean it will respawn after a certain amount of time? The blue zone is still on my map, but just unsure how long it takes to respawn if you take too long and it goes away
@@E-HeroZachary Thank you - I did eventually find that out. I had looked in the blue circle and couildnt find it, but it was on the outer edge so just didnt search good enough. Thanks! :D
The one thing that you and others don’t mention about scrying is that you have to first discover all the striking locations in a zone. Otherwise you will not be able to scry in that zone.
It's easy to be the first to comment. It's much harder to be the first to comment and actually comment something relative to the video. Everytime someone says " first ", most likely, they didn't even watch the video. Food for thought.
@@demani2670 I never said you didn't. I said most people who are just there to claim first don't even watch the video before they claim first. If you wait till after you watch it than someone else might claim first. That's why most of these type of comments are made before even watching it. Farming mats on Artaeum is really fun, because if ya go away from one spot for a slightly-extended time, stuff re-spawns after a while.
