I'd like to applaud Mike for a great video, great demonstration and education. He's a great addition to your channel. I plan on using the flexor stretch tomorrow in the gym. I do yoga almost every day (along with other fitness) and I'm not sure if it is exacerbating or alleviating my LBP.
The cobra has always aggravated my sciatic pain because, with the pelvis fixed to the ground and the upper back curving inwards, it *compresses* the discs in the lower back! I find any move that *rounds out* the lower back (e.g. the cat stretch) much more beneficial, for that reason. You can feel the pressure being relieved as the vertebrae move away from each other.
Thank you, Mike and Brad! It was great seeing Bob's smiling face today too. You guys are the best, I'm always recommending your channel and sharing your videos. Happy New Year!!!
As a yogi, I love to see how yoga poses and stretches intertwine. By the way, you can be any yogi you want to be, even ones that try to take picnic baskets. Explaining how to do the stretches and what is being impacted are extremely helpful. Love the fun you guys have doing these videos. The videos become even more enjoyable to watch.
i'm 65 and have had tight hips for 10 years......i do hoola hoops slowly without the hoola hoop of course and i go both directions about 10 each direction......they get easier the more you do.....i have to stop for a few days but thats my hip exercise
I slipped going down the stairs and hit my spine on the edge of a step years ago- the table/broken table poses helped me get over this more than anything else. 🤷♂️
My favorite yoga teacher always told me that if you're doing cobra, you want to briefly pull your hands off the ground to make sure your back is doing the work. But the rotation from cobra to childs pose in practice is *chefs kiss*
I love you guys your instruction has changed my life but I would like to know where I can get one of those blue padded folding benches it would definitely make life easier for my wife and I we're in our 60s now and we're thinking Bob everytime we watch your channel. 🙏
That is just our massage table, here is a link to several good ones on Amazon: www.amazon.com/s?k=massage+table&crid=187RUI0QQZTV&sprefix=massage+tabl%2Caps%2C133&ref=nb_sb_noss_2
I have been to PT for back pain and would like to get an exercise table similar to yours. My bed is not high enough to dangle my leg. I can’t do floor exercises for 2 reasons: 1. My dog thinks it’s play time and 2. I can’t get up from the floor 😂 Thank you for your videos. I follow but don’t usually comment. Thanks again
Brad, do you have any recommendation for a velcro back brace? I did not see one in your Amazon store. I've been struggling with a back flare up (I have spondylothythesis also) and I have a really old velcro brace that is no longer working. Any advice? Thanks - Michelle S.

Our pleasure! We couldn't do it without all our loyal followers and subscribers!! We appreciate you!
Wonderful
I like that prayer stretch but then the bottom of my foot cramps up. What’s the fix?
Try to keep your foot flexed out while doing it if possible. You may want to stretch your foot before doing it too, that might help
@ thank you! Maybe a future video topic!
Love this stretch. Do it all the time. I call this child’s pose
Yes!!
I went through the video and which of these 10 stretches are the one stretch you mentioned in the title?
Oh that's a great question!!
thanks شكرا
