So I'm not sure if it was just the "off the rails" connection, but the opening guitar immediately made me think of a slowed-down Randy Rhoads in Crazy Train (which happens to be one of my all time favorite pieces of music). This is like an homage, the more I listen to it. And brilliant in its own right.
