December deals - UK cheap price cold Hardy palms

December is my favourite time of year for getting plants for a fairly good price. I picked up two European Fan Palms (Chamaerops humilis) and 2 Chamaerops Volcano, totalling £90. Local garden center was shut due to Storm Darragh and so was B&Q. Homebase was so poor that I couldn't bring myself to include the video!

I absolutely love cordylines (not the stinky flowers though!) will await your video about them. I had very tall lovely ones at my old house. The first plants I ever bought over 25 years ago. They are still going strong too! 😊

Thanks they are amazing beautiful plants! My new vid will cover winter care as I lost one to the cold 2022/23. It was 20 years old :-( so a very painful loss!

I'd have a handful of those Vulcanos at that sale price that's for sure.
It's a bit sparse at my local garden centres

Very sparse here also, there are some Cordylines and Phormiums on sale in B&Q, but the garden center was closed yesterday due to high winds. Homebase was open, but surprisingly only 10% discounts.
