@Hernandez Romero Sir, the weapons are finished and fully in the game. Easily accessed by the player. I didn't datamine, I didn't dig for these, etc. I literally flipped a small switch in the Custom Game menu. These weapons are also in the Campaign. They're finished.
I love that the "Longshot" AR looks like they meant for it to be tailored for ranged fights, but with the bloom and higher damage, it ironically feels better for CQC lol
@@cooliipie yeah the ar is still a lil too strong imo, it was CRAZY in the flights... I mean they nerfed it some but could use more. I really only play ranked so doesn't really affect me
@@cooliipie Yeah that's really my biggest issue with the game's weapons. It's not Halo 5 levels of bad in this regard, but it's still a problem and creates a lot of overlap in the weapon sandbox that the game would be better without.
These variants are from the campaign open world bosses that drop signature wepons. Theres a grunt in one of the first missions with the white plasma pistol, and an elite with the special sword
Banished weapon variants are saved and can be recovered from F.O.B.s as a reward for taking out these bosses. Nothing like assaulting a base while loaded up on explosive Skewer ammo.
Even if these don't get added into the playlists already available, I'd love to see another playlist that exclusively uses these variants of the weapons we already have. It would be interesting to see how those sorts of games would go.
Fiesta is already my favorite mode. The only kind of game a non-competitive player like me can really get into. But Variant Fiesta would be the best playlist hands down.
I would like to see all the weapons from all the halos they should be scattered around the campaign map along with the new weapons, 343 should have never gotten rid of the the magnum or carbine or the mpumb shotgun they should scatter them around the campaign map to find as unique weapons
For the Pursuit Hydra, i noticed it has a drastically increased time to lock on, almost instant, and the range for the lock on is seemingly infinite from my testing
I've never made a RUclips video before, but a helpful tip might be to add the name of the weapons at the time stamps, instead of just 1,2,3, etc. Cheers!
@@senseixero999 it’ll be free, if they made it a paid dlc they would get boycotted by over half the player base. Plus it would just be stupid, forge allows the players to make content for them, and if reach taught us anything it’s that we will.
I think a cool idea for weapon variants is versions of the existing weapons to make custom games of that makes most of the current guns work like their predecessors. IE: Pulse Carbine - plasma rifle fire rate, Plasma pistol - EMP vehicles, etc...
12:09 Concerning the Riven Mauler and the Perfect Medal headshot bug, this is likely something to do with how the game handles Hit Registration and damage calculation, my guess is that the game reaches the necessary damage threshold for a kill with fewer projectiles, possibly causing it to count the excess damage as a missed shot. just a working theory. Either that or the game is bugging out over how a weapon that isn't a shotgun is behaving like one. Also as an edit The Ultra Stalker Rifle has about twice the ammo efficiency and a little less heat build up per shot, vidya doesn't mention that.
something interesting about the arcane sentinel beam: in halo infinites campaign the REQ description of the weapon has it listed as an "_SMG_Variant_". which i thought was weird.
While the sentinel beam is stupid powerful, accurate, and has immense range, the game still classifies it as a CQC SMG type of weapon because devs consider it an SMG.
Breacher BR is basically the M6D Duelist Sword is basically the H2 Sword The Riven is OP The Pin point Needler is the H2 Needler. Rapid Carbine is the Plasma Caster's little brother. Tracker Rocket Launcer is the H2 Rocket Launcher Arcane Sentinel Beam is basically the gold Major Sentinel beam from H2 Striker Sidekick is the H5 Magnum EXCITED!
*About the NEW revised Mangler, it's not a glitch with the perfect medal. It is awarded for killing optimally with the gun. So the best way to kill is why you got it with body shots*

I absolutely love the cindershot!!! Its ammos' ability to bounce is great for crowd control and is super powerful and effective(assuming you're accurate enough with it of course)!!!

Breacher BR or the modified Bulldog for sure. I played around with all of these weapons against bots and those were so satisfying to use.

Probably the satisfying part about the melee weapons is that once they lose their power, you can still use the handles to bash them in the face still
