Okay...I'm gonna be the guy that has told certain players covering iconic 80's rock covers for the past 10 years...I hear a dandy that raises the bar a little higher and I compliment them with that is the best cover I've heard so far. Well sir, let me just tell you and this is the first time I have EVER said this so check this out.....that was not only the best guitar cover I have EVER heard after listening to covers for 10 years...I seriously doubt I will see any other artist show the attention to detail that you just showed on this cover........I'm seriously floored and in awe! Words can't express how good that was. My man...way to strum that 6 string!
And it was a live one take one tracked guitar. So many players pre record and “music video” over there fully mastered tunes. Which is cool in its own way but I like that this was indeed one continuous live take.

99% of the time I prefer any guitarist to keep it as note for note as possible when doing a cover and try to do the same with my playing for the most part but having said that I'll admit what you did on the solo would be the other 1%. You made some realy nice choices there and I thought it was a fantastic job. Great work man!

Thank you. I was using a Line 6 pod farm here: Their version of a JCM 800 with a chorus after it and a tube screamer in front of it. The song is in standard tuning.

Solid playing, cool little solo you added (or is it from some live performance I'm not aware of?), and maybe the most impressive thing - you managed to get a sound that is both heavily chorused and really good.
It is from a live performance, that's attention to detail from part of the cover's author. I've seen little to no covers with that outro solo.

Damn, that was good! I'm still working on this song. I tried tackling it a while back, but I've gotten lazy over the years and had to go back and work on my alternate picking. It's hard to play if you can't alternate pick that ascending D Minor and those staccato fills.
