I wanted Nina to be top four, but now it makes sense why she's not in it. I mean as awesome as she is, her runways weren't up to RuPaul's final four expectations. In terms of personality, acting and comedy she should have definitely been top four.
Her humility and modesty is aspiring and incredible. Yes, an extra dosage of confidence is needed, but it's still a level of altruism that many never attain

It was anticlimactic especially since there were only 10 girls on AS. Edit. I do not believe that Brooke and Yvie double win would have the same backlash as Monet and Trinity did. Entirely different circumstances.

Brooke and Yvie never really had any drama this season, despite they were both obvious contenders for the finals... I don't recall these two ever getting into a fight or argument which usually happens when the Queen's make it to top 5/top4 of the competition.
Because she was so unconventional. Weird isn't everybody's tastes, and so it can be an easy hit and miss. But Yvie has managed to sell the judges, the werkroom and the world that weird is beautiful.
Sharon, Jinxx, Alaska, Sasha...by now it's a drag race trope that the more quirky conceptual drag tends to excel ...so I don't know what the surprise was about either
i think its because other conceptual queens like dusty and milk werent very appreciated on their time on the show (e.g milk’s look with the beard, dusty with her dots) and especially with dusty being the season before yvie i was kinda afraid for her because i thought the judges wont understand her
Umm you realize you could ruin the surprise for a lot of people who don’t want to know the results until the actual finale right? Like at least put a spoiler warning at the beginning of your post out of consideration for others please.
Whoever paired these 3 together for an interview deserves a raise. It is so refreshing not to have the louder personalities (Silky, Vanjie, the rest of 'em) shouting over top of each other, monopolizing air time and hijacking EVERY conversation.
To me, Yvie deserves the title because during the competition she grew up as a person and as a drag queen. She showed the world a different side of drag and also that she has Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent. Even though Brooke Lynn has the best track record, to me Yvie should be crowned.
i think b deserves the crown because shes done the best and her track record on the show is almost unmatched, and she came in as one of the most prepared, polished queens ever and slayed both the times she had to lipsync (dont think she deserved bottom last episode but thats another story). yvie, while i love her a Lot, hasn’t done as well as brooke lynn so that makes her a very close in my eyes. i also think that yvie has “more” room to grow big steps than brooke for a potential all stars season, just to get to a little bit of a more at that polished & perfected level, that brooke’s already at

I actually LOVED the final runway look Nina made for herself and Shuga and the way they both wore it with pride. It had such heart and the two really did look like sisters. I found a picture of them wearing it and it's my PC wallpaper now. I hope silly judgments didn't bring Nina down or cause her to second guess herself. At the end of the day, it captured the true spirit of LGBTQ pride

This is probably the first season I've seen where I would be fine with either top contender winning. These two along with Scarlet and Vanjie were my favorites this season.
