Awesome pickups, Frank! Peeping Tom 4K looks incredible (Marty Scorsese and Thelma Schoonmaker supervised the restoration) and Trainspotting 4K is also a really nice edition (even if the digipack is a little whacky). Enjoy!
I went with... Blue Velvet 4K (upgrade) Peeping Tom 4K The Roaring Twenties 4K Double Indemnity 4K Le Samouraï 4K (preorder) Picnic at Hanging Rock 4K And yes I've heard stories about picnic's transfer but I wanna see for myself.

@@Franksmediaandreviews from what I hear they both have some DNR issues but apparently criterion's is a bit worse, I just happen to be a glutton for forming my own opinion on these types of things
It's definitely not for everyone. Have you've seen Censor or Possessor? As those are the movies, I compared it to. I appreciate you watching the video!
@@Franksmediaandreviews Blood Simple is what I wanted the most and I was able to grab that yesterday, but another title I'd like to get is Scanners. I tried to get it with Blood Simple but it became out of stock, so I'll check back throughout the month to see if that store gets more copies in! 🤞🏻
@@Franksmediaandreviews I love the in store experience as well .. much prefer it. Unfortunately 90% of what's around me has next to nothing. I like criterion haul videos. But I turned it off when you sped up the video and added the horribly compressed PD music. This is NOT an improvement. Nobody wants that.
Well, I appreciate you watching the video up until you left. Definitely check out other great physical media content creators. In my original BH video, I didn't add background music, and my video got flagged, due to copyright music, so I had to re-upload with YT music to fix the issue.

Nice additions! I’m getting my wishlist put together for the sale!

Hi James! I can't wait to see Peeping Tom!
Also, I definitely consider you Mr. Criterion. 🤣
Seriously, thanks for checking my channel out.
Great pickups! That is a nce looking B&N store with a lot of stock.
That's because this one is in suburbia. 🤣
Blue Velvet is creepy and good!
Can't wait to watch it!
They told me they weren’t sure!
Sure about the 50% off sale? Or when it ends?

I see you bro with the new opening graphics 💯
🔥
I didn’t know B&N had blue rays
They had a lot blurays
I saw Stopmotion in theaters and hated it.

You better already have Onibaba. If not, definitely pick that up next. Great picks though.

It sucks that Barnes and Nobles won't ship to Australia as there are titles i would love to buy
At least here in the States, Amazon is price matching the Criterion movies. Are they doing the same for Australia?
@@Franksmediaandreviews No they are not which sucks

I went to barnes and noble today too. I picked up raging bull & repo man
Love it! Raging Bull is a fantastic 4k transfer and I believe Repo Man has a 4k coming in August.
Even if you don't have a 4k player yet, I'd return repo man and hold out for it's 4k a couple months from now
Are they actually worth buying there? Any time I've ever looked at their stock, the 4k movies are $10-20 higher than Amazon or even ebay
I would say yes. However, Amazon will or probably already has price matched as they did the same for Kino Lorber movies.
I personally like the in-store experience, but that may not be the same for everyone.
