I never thought that I would love a K-Pop band in my life, but BTS is something completely different. I found them back this month and I'm so glad that I did. I usually don't comment about personal stuff online, but I know that Army will appreciate it and be able to connect somewhat. At the beginning of this year, my whole world seemed to crumble around me as unforeseen events caused me to become quite down. However, I stumbled upon the video of BTS of when they were introducing themselves on Fallon and I instantly began to fall in love with them and their personalities. I began on a binge of random videos of JK eating food, Tae being that bundle of light for everybody, Jin telling his dad jokes, Jimin being the energetic person he is, and RM, Suga, and J-Hope killing it with their rapping skills. I then began to listen to their music and I was instantly hooked. They were able to pull me out of the darkness and into the light. I've never smiled as much as I have just watching this group of lifelong friends pranking, loving and performing with each other. They've truly changed my life for the better and I'm gonna stick with them for life. I'm glad to be part of the Army! Hopefully one day I can meet them and just thank them for the influence they've had on my life! Hope somebody can connect with this as BTS has with me! :)

I was amazed by their dance skills and visual. I saw genuine talent. I instantly liked them. But it wasn't until 2018 I became a fan. I started getting into kdramas and I liked listening to Jay Park and loco. (K-dramas led to kpop.) I came across BTS again (fake love era) and I just kept on watching their music videos. And I watched alot of videos of Jungkook. (my bias) I slowly started getting to fully know the other members. They brought so much joy into my life. 2017 was a very bad year. I had my days when I felt depressed. My life was falling apart and I had no energy to do anything. I felt like I was never going to be happy again. They changed all of that. I'm so grateful that I came across them again in 2018. I'm grateful that there are genuinely good people like them in this world. I promised myself I'll support them till the end.
