    This whole ceremony should be about celebrating the people behind the films so WHY are we cutting these people off to make room for so many unfunny and irrelevant skits?

      Seriously, it's a lifetime achievement, surely the audience can stand a couple of minutes of talking. That's why they are there in the first place.

    • @Greybell
      @Greybell 24 days ago +46

      Are they not able to give a soft warning or leniency on the time? The winners know they have a time limit, they are not dumb. Just let them have their moment. Oscars have been doing this for years it's infuriating.

MOVIE theaters....yes , thats the place where nobody goes these days , also Timmy has no skills whatsoever to be an opera singer or a ballet dancer :D Timmy would probably pass out if he tried real opera and it actually worked :D its just that intense( yes I know those things cause I work in Opera and Ballet theater in my country)

    It's good that the creators of Kpop Demon Hunters are taking their time with the sequel. Animated movies that are as high quality as the first one should take that long. The animation, voice acting, editing, soundtrack, etc, take a while, and rushing it would be a mistake.

      It's kind of funny how you used to have john waynes and Marlon Brandons saying and doing absolutely horrendous nasty stuff and getting praised. And now this preppy New York theatre kid who talks too much and tries too hard and cringes and jokes and goes off on tangents and silly rants like a teenager/new yorker/nerd suddenly the poster child of "annoying man please avoid" in today's gastroenterological oppressed culture.
      I find it even funnier that a lot of theatre kids I Know were clowning him but actually talk in way more obnoxious ways than he does. Youth culture is in shambles really, you used to have johnny rotten exposing Jimmy saville, now you have a dork getting bullied for choosing the least embarrassing job out of the three main classic performative arts. It's just a boy trying to be cool. Punks used to mock jazz, pop and disco for less. Corporate generation, everyone acting like they're about to lose their jobs for speaking up to the boss of opinions.
      Also, I Know the votes were closed before he said that silly thing. But he was snubbed for being an annoying youngin for the past year regardless. Which is corporate culture pretending to be artistic culture.

      its actually annoying that his comments on opera and ballet are what got the hate train rolling, and not his weird comments on childfree people or the fact he supports child sex abuser Woody Allen, maple maga and murderer via boat Kevin O'Leary, and that Safdie guy who let a girl get sexually harassed on his set.

    I know people look to KPDH as the biggest success story for animation this year especially being the biggest American animated movie of the year which isn’t nostalgiabait and/or Disney or even Spiderverse for once which makes the fact that they didn’t even get the common courtesy to debut in theaters even more baffling. But at least they don’t have to deal with a dictatorial company that shelves finished projects, delete even the most popular content from streaming forever and/or writes them off for taxes.
    Ketchup Entertainment saved the Looney Tunes after the company that literally created them abandoned them. It’s a fucking miracle that The Day The Earth Blew Up came out at all let alone in theaters! We’ve never had a fully animated theatrical Looney Tunes movie before and we’ve haven’t had a fully 2d western animated movie release exclusively in theaters for decades until now! That’s where I saw it before it was too late and it was one of the best experiences at the theater in a while! And it got nothing but Best Animated Film at the Saturn Awards.
    It’s flabbergasting that they didn’t get nominated for any awards not even just the Oscars, but practically no award shows at all! Not even the Annies. I’m not even saying it’s better than or even just as great any of the movies that were nominated except Elio which was okay at best and I’m not even saying I want it to win, but it’s too historically important to not get ANYTHING. Especially because it’s Looney Tunes and especially because traditionally western animated movies don’t make it to theaters anymore. The academy also never had an Outstanding Voice Over Performance and I guarantee Eric Bauza would’ve gotten a nomination. If Warner didn’t screw over this movie like how they screwed over everything else, none of this would’ve happened.

      riiiight, like duh most people dont go to the opera or ballet, they are expensive as fuck, but people still respect and love the concept and culture of it. We need to try to keep it around as long as possible, i don't want to live in a world where the only form of literary art we have is movies, youtube and ai.... that sounds like hell. the reason rich out of touch people call it a "dying art for" is because they CAN go to it but don't because they're too focused on their own career and thinking that their career is the most important, so they assume everyone can go to it, but just choose not to. funny though, because i can afford to go to the movies, but i actively choose not to attend any timothee chamalet movies because i dont think he's a very enjoyable person to watch.

      @morganhayden625 very good point and I would also like to add that I can afford to go to the movies but choose not to because they actually are too expensive for what they're worth these days 🤷🏽‍♀️ maybe timmy _should_ be worried about that lol
