  • 'Babe, let me die.' These were the last words that Muhubiri Yohane (John Mburu) heard from his wife. She died only three months after their wedding.
And as if the pain of loosing the wife was not enough, the wife's parents denied John from burying his wife

I work in medical field but and I have an advise to anyone planning to conceive. once you are sure you are pregnant[ with a test]
before you reach 8 weeks in pregnancy ALWAYS do an ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy or anembryonic pregnancy.Ectopic pregnancy rarely goes beyond 8 weeks before it bursts. Also early antenatal clinic is also important in pregnancy journey.

A man with a lot of wisdom!! You did good to take back everything that had come from the in law's side... all they cared about was material/dowry. Do not blame them for the death/ for not "letting her go or marry," This life threatening complications affect women all over the world, I lost 2 neigbhors with the same.. l like you "wanted her to rest in peace" May your healing come sooner, may you get a wonderful wife..May you be a wonderful husband to your next one too. May God hear your prayers.

How can you send a Patient in that Condition back home and tell her to come back the following day???!!!! She was a Candidate for Intensive Care Unit....The LEAST they could have done is Refer her to Kenyatta Hospital if they weren't Equipped to Handle her Situation!!

I can agree with john that if your parents don't release you in one heart ni matata balaa from experience but not in marriage in work situation where mum never wanted me to go to work and every time i left she would cry 😢 and then after 1wk i would get sick and can't work anymore i end up going back home ones am home she gets soo excited and happy about my coming back. One day i told her she is the cause of my coming back and she released me in peace and thats how i left home and started doing well in my life .

I let go good and I'm good, I thank God I don't miss her a bit but I miss and think of my two girls almost every other minute.

We serve a faithful and a reasonable God who will never hurt us in any way .John I'm saddened by your testimony but I know God has a real reason why all this happened. I'm a widow and God gave me many years to enjoy my husband but when he was taken away from us we didn't miss to ask ourselves why it happened but we didn't get the answer only God knows. You have a right to ask yourself why your loved was taken but when we remember who God is we're sure He doesn't make mistakes. Let's cheer up like the song goes coz God knows all about it. Take hurt my brother God will replace what He took with another good replacement. I love you for your courage to speak yourself. Monica thank you for job well done. Take heart Jowabu. There is a reason for everything that happens.Shiru is resting somewhere with the Angels peacefully. And to those parents who give their daughters for marriage but has some grudges with them, remember, you will never marry your daughter and life must continue and you may cause them bad luck in marriage. Hope these parents learns from this story. It's too painful especially to the deceased husband for being denied his rights to bury Shiru.

This is so painful for John to bear. May God strengthen you and help you to rise again. You are a man and a half, you loved her for better for worse. Men like you are a rare breed. The doctors in that hospital have got a lot to answer. They could have helped her as a matter of emergency instead of complaining about her screaming. May God in heaven have mercy on you and others like you 🙏
