- Afghan women, once enjoying freedoms like education and work, have had their rights brutally stripped away since the U.S. withdrawal in 2021. Despite finding safety and new opportunities in America, the Aziz family, who managed to escape Afghanistan after it fell to the Taliban, remains deeply concerned for those left behind, particularly women facing gender apartheid. They plead for global attention and action to address the worsening crisis in Afghanistan.

Independent Women’s Forum (IWF) believes all issues are women’s issues. IWF promotes policies that aren’t just well-intended, but actually enhance people’s freedoms, opportunities, and well-being. IWF doesn’t just talk about problems. We identify solutions and take them straight to the playmakers and policy creators. When organisations like Amnesty blame women for their oppression, what can we do?
This makes me sick. Thank you for spreading awareness
How can we spread the word? This should be more visible in the media.
Afghan fathers should fight for their daughter's rights.
I stand with Women in Afghanistan 🇦🇫 SiStarhood is Global ❤️🩹
It’s so terrible that this is happening today. Many of these girls were raised under western standards not oppressive tyrants.
Absolutely heartbreaking implements. Everyone interview did a great job. I agree with everything except one thing, the US is not the only country who cares about human rights. We do have democracy in Europe too and I'm sure many nations is asia for example too etc.
