The answer = lingering potions of slow falling. Smash a potion on the ghast's head and the player that lands will be fine. Just have to time it right as that potion doesn't last very long.

I feel that. I made a bee farm on my friend server. It was extremely simple, like basic level beginner redstone stuff. But I figured it all out on my own, and I am so very proud of it, and I love my bee farm.

As it is, though, Grian had no way of knowing how far down she was, and if this is correct, then it’s totally reasonable for him to assume that she had full prot, as that’s usually the standard for fully decked out armor. Grian did the absolute best he could given the circumstances, but I do so wish it had a happy ending!

All the corners had froglights, they did go all the way around, but because of the weird viewing from the top it is cut off a bit because the shape of the glass isn't the same as the square of the farm, (also really trying not to sound mean or judgemental, just genuinely trying to show what im seeing, but im not sure i come across the way i want to :( i atleast think it does go all the way around from what i could see throught the video)

If you want extra insurance for saving someone from the void using a happy ghast, but can't calculate the distance in which fall damage is fatal: *Use a Lingering Slow Falling Potion* It'll splash on the happy ghast's head and act as like a safety net to catch the person you're rescuing. (It's like using a fire trampoline to save someone jumping off a burning building)
@Mushroomage ... I *literally* said the bit about if they're below y=0 as a secondary backup. In the case of this situation, it looked like she wasn't yet. If she was even at y=1 and would fall through the water after first landing in it, it would have cut her falling damage before restarting it with a new calculation, which would have saved her, even without the lingering slow falling potion.
This was an amazing episode. Now that I’ve watched from season 6 to now. I think the anticipation of actually waiting for more episodes will make it even better. I know a lot of people are a bit impatient but I don’t want you to burn out on these vids. Take breaks, live in the IRL.

If you want extra insurance for saving someone from the void using a happy ghast, but can't calculate the distance in which fall damage is fatal:
*Use a Lingering Slow Falling Potion*
It'll splash on the happy ghast's head and act as like a safety net to catch the person you're rescuing.
(It's like using a fire trampoline to save someone jumping off a burning building)

@Mushroomage ... I *literally* said the bit about if they're below y=0 as a secondary backup. In the case of this situation, it looked like she wasn't yet.
If she was even at y=1 and would fall through the water after first landing in it, it would have cut her falling damage before restarting it with a new calculation, which would have saved her, even without the lingering slow falling potion.
