this is one of the hardest pieces written by Paganini for the violin - arranged this for an acoustic guitar to sounds similiar to original - a true mastery
Like the Americans know anything about classical music and its complexity. Even this so-called musician has lost 90@ of Marcin's virtuosity.

As for the tape, Marcin has said he likes to put the pickup at an angle (as you can see in this video) so it doesn’t get in the way of some of the percussive hits he does on the guitar. It doesn’t attach securely at an angle, hence the tape. Also he sets the action super low because of all the tapping he does. Such a phenomenal guitarist. I would love to see you do more reactions to him.
I just watched an April patreon video of his last night and he actually has three other pickups in the base of the guitar! So 4 pickups total laughing out loud!!:-)))

Hi harrison, I have a 1972 Martin D28 Acoustic. It's had an underbridge pickup in for over 30 years, so wasn't quite sure about the narrow body reference, althoughI understand you were referring to semi-acoustic guitars. Marcin now plays a self-designed true acoustic custom-built Ibenez with a scratch plate and an even wider body than a normal acoustic, His pickup is in the soundhole obviously, and I believe he pust his bottom string through an octave pedal for some tracks for extra bass. Amazing! Cheers.

The tape thing is because, he uses his hands slapping the acoustic so it's a microphone that has a stabilizer so it picks up the acoustic strings as well as the percussive hand slaps on the body

he does MASSIVE amounts of hammer-ons/offs, so the strings have to be literally a breath away from the frets so they sound clear and full, the pick-ups (imho) maintain that acoustic guitar sound vs an "electric" type sound. If you notice, it just sounds like a loud acoustic vs an electrified acoustic. Again just my opinion.
