Oh no Becky, i had an imposter on mine as well telling people they won and to give them their information. I also have one im doing tonight so not sure what to do now. 😮, thanks for the info and will try and come up with something to safe guard this from happening....hugs 🤗🤗
@StarlightStarbright70 give the winner a code word when they email you. Tell them to edit their comment and put the key word in. Only the original poster can edit the comment...so if it's an imposter they won't be able to do it.

Hi Becky im so sorry that happened to you When you do a giveaway, ask the winner to edit their original comment with a code word that you provide. Since only the original commenter can edit their own comment, this ensures the authenticity of the winner.
That's awful! I recently won from a YT channel and after the announcement someone did that with my name and photo. I noticed that and so did the YT creator, thankfully.
