- This video was very hard scary for me to make. I like to put my "best me" out there, however...I decided it was time to show what I have been hiding. I have had problematic skin my entire life. Thanks to great lighting and make-up...I can hide it.
BUT! It's time to show you ME! Thanks for helping me be brave and I hope this inspires others that are afraid to show their real self. Flaws and all.

I rediscovered the fun that make-up can be about 2 years ago when I found Younique at nearly 60. I'm not a presenter - just a customer and fan. Love that you did this video! I had melasma above my upper lip for about 2 years after my second baby was born. Eventually it faded, but I thought it never would!
+Michelle Snyder Mine fades as well but any sun exposure (even with sunscreen) enhances and darkens it. So glad yours faded!

Krystal - I also had bad skin when I was younger and have scars. I was on accutane 2x when I was in high school. It did help and I haven't had any problems since. I just wanted to let you know how much I LOVE your videos!! I've been watching them since I started in March. I hope to meet you at Convention! I have blue eyes too, and I LOVE all your eyeshadow videos.. You are GORGEOUS gurl and I'm so proud of you for doing this video!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜

Krystal Smart I just LOVE your Younique tutorials! You are so easy to watch and have such great details and explanations for what you are doing with each look. I am currently a kitnapper and shopper of Y products. I run another business on my own and have been trying to figure out how to fit in selling Younique, because I love the products so much! You give me hope that I can do it, because you work full-time, have small children and just so much going on. Also, you are so beautiful! Thank you for being so open in this video and sharing something that wasn't easy for you. Of course, we subscribers think you look great without makeup, but I completely understand that this was a personal thing for you. Keep up the great work! omg hunni your skin is not that bad you are beautiful, i have only been with company since 1st of january but i joined because of my love for the face mask. i suffer with really bad acne and cysts that are very painful i do alot of wake up to makeup lives. before joining younique in two years i wore makeup a think maybe 2 or 3 times. everything else i used made my skin crawl and gave me even worse skin. . i love your tutorials i tell everyone in our team needing some inspiration to come and watch your videos because they are amazing. i love our products they cover up all my bad skin and really gives you a boost as it covers everything and you dont need alot and it feels like you have nothing on. but you really shouldnt worry you look amazing so cant wait to see it change to black statues :-) and to see more of your videos i have just been going through them i just love them xxx

almost a year later after you posted this and i am just now starting with younique myself but you just need to know how beautiful you are, I know you can hear people say it all day and it does nothing until you feel the same for yourself but I'll just go ahead and be an added voice you are so pretty without your make up I truly mean that......I LOVE your videos you seem to be such a sweet heart!! Hopefully after a year your doctors appointment went great and you are off to feeling much better about your skin!! :)
Lauren Reynolds that is so sweet of you! I really appreciate your kind words! My skin still isn't perfect but it did help with some of the darker spots I was having issues with. I am much more conscious of taking better care of my skin than I was before.

your very welcome hunni i know how it feels. when i was a teen i didnt get spots on my face i got them on my back and i was so self conscious about it that i always had it covered up and looking back now it wasnt even than bad. but my face now i really suffer but i didnt wear any make up for over 2 years as it made it worse thats why i love our foundation as it really covers my face and every one says how amazing it is as mine is really bad. but just remember you are beautiful and i so love your tutorials i tell everyone to come and watch them xxx

Krystal I am. Younique Presenter in Dallas, if you use the Uplift Serum in conjunction with your concealer you can use the concealer underneath your eyes with the beauty blender! Works awesome. Krystal- I stumbled upon your videos as I had heard of Younique but was not familiar with it. Going bare-faced is scary! Your videos are so honest and authentic; easy to watch and enjoyable. Have you ever looked into Rodan and Fields skincare for your Melasma? I love their products enough to sell them, much the way you love Younique enough to sell. Anyway, keep up the fun, friendly posts!

I have crazy uneven skin tone. I will send a pic of myself bare faced..if you'd like, mine is worse, way worse than yours.
I advise you to not do a chemical peel. Read the stuff online,
I was determined I was going to do it. But I changed my mind and I saw the results in pics from others.
I live in the ever glades in Florida moved from Nashville to Florida 7 months ago.
I have access to every skin derm office known and world class!
I'm still not doing it.
I hope you will reconsider and I think your beautiful ..totally gorgeous--just the way you are and as God made you.

+Michelle Miller I live in Cookeville so I'm not far from where you used to be. I completely understand what you're saying. The reason I am having this corrected is because it truly isn't a natural part of me. It's from my own negligence from years of not wearing sunscreen or washing my face properly when I was younger. It's also from things I can't control like hormones. If it were part of me, that's a total different story because I am happy with how God made me. I love the way Younique covers and I'm so thankful for it! However, I want to wear make-up on my own terms. I want to wear it to enhance, not to hide behind. Hope that makes sense.

I spent time in sun, treated my skin horribly.
We are southern born and raised.
I am 43 and have peaked with wisdom. I too was very insecure, embarrassed, and felt so beneath even someone like you who's way prettier in the face than me! But here's where I am different now, I took each day and just talked to God and asked him what he thinks of me, not my mirror. I cried over my looks..
Eventually with his idea of me took over and I think less n less of beauty. This world is too serious about outward appearances vs inward. I hope you will take my wisdom and biblical truth to your soul bank and trust in me and what I'm sharing. I am beautiful, with my melasma, my dark spots, and I sought way too long to find perfection when it was already there. Don't find excuses to do this. Find yourself in him and I am saying without jealousy or envy, you are the prettiest southern gal I've seen.
Can you use moisturizer over the spray tan?
I normally use moisturizer under it but honestly, I don't think you would have a problem using it on top as long as it is completely dry.
