    Gas miles seems about the same as my TRX. I get 14.5 to 15 mpg driving 80 mph from Casper to Cheyenne on I-25. My TRX is broken in. But when i frist got my TRX driving from Des Moises, Iowa to Casper,WY on on I-80 I was getting 12.5 on average during break in. What really kills my gas mileage is in town driving in the winter. 9-10 mpg with remote start. I’m hoping it gets better mpg than what you show. But initial impression are not good. Hard to beleive that little engine even with turbos would suck that much fuel. I beleive the mpg estimator is pretty spot on. I stopped hand calculating mine because it was pretty spot on.

All I ever owned are Ram trucks but the 2025 as much as I love the truck I can't stand the way it sounds and I've been waiting to see these at dealerships which will probably make me get a 2024 so I can still have the V8 Hemi.

      If I want a V-8 and need to tow, I get a HD diesel. Who cares about a V-*. These trucks are all trash, throw away. I'm leasing a RHO as a business write off. Have the warranty and three year lease, throw it back to the dealer as it will be bigger trash.

    • @TheAudi585
      @TheAudi585 8 дней назад

      @@michaelcostin2384 there’s no point to get a diesel one gassers are pretty much almost the same level when it comes to some diesel, like the 6.4 hemi capable of towing nearly the same amount as the standard output 6.7 Cummins… on top of that like in the states we have to have a DEF system, which is garbage and ruining the diesels. All these restrictions that are ruining the diesels, I’ve seen what the RHO can do and I’m not impressed for how little of mileage it gets…. My 5.7 has towed twice the amount I’ve seen tested for the RHO in my 57 gets around the same mileage when I’m towing twice as much as I’ve seen tested with the RHO, more parts and the engine being aluminum are all problems in itself and the fact there’s no dipstick does not help any. I could always TwinTurbo, my V8, and it would more than likely produce the same power or more as that RHO, the difference is that the turbos would break before the engine compared to the aluminum RHO, it will flex, but it’ll never go back into place and that is bad… especially with the oil pressure dropping so hard and fast towing… the V8 is a cast-iron engine just like the diesels, it can take much more of a abuse and beating compared to the soft aluminum.

    I just rented a Grand Wagoneer with the Hurricane I6 and was very impressed, felt powerful and ran really well. One thing was concerning was the amount of squeaks and rattles, everything from the door closing to the dash just rattled everywhere and this was a 2024 with 10k miles. I worry about long term reliability with any Stellantis product but agree as a ‘24 Raptor owner quality/look of materials are miles ahead of Ford.

Theres a reason they also aren't pushing 700hp out of this platform. Let that sink in idgaf about after-market they stopped at 540 because it was definitely going to have issues if they pushed it any harder.

    Stellanis' (NYSE:STLA) Ram landed the Best Truck Brand award for the sixth year in a row due to what U.S. News & World Report called the models' combination of luxury and traditional trucking capabilities. Notably, the Ram 1500 is the sales volume leader of the brand’s lineup, as well as the current leader of the U.S. News full-size truck ranking.

    • @CTECH-REVIEW
      @CTECH-REVIEW  9 дней назад

      I don’t disagree with you in a real world scenario. I’m not sure you’re going to get but one to 2 mile per gallon better than the hellcat. With that being said on the test protocol from the EPA it shows about a 4 mile per gallon improvement over the TRX. My guess is it was easier to get rid of the hellcat and just have one single engine family across the entire vehicle lineup from a financial perspective.

      It drives lighter and feels more nimble...if you can in fact run 87 octane, and it gets 2-3mpg better than the TRX than I think it will be a better daily. I liked my regular raptor more than my Raptor R as a daily and for towing. The ecoboost held lower RPMs and had a much more manageable exhaust sound when towing on the highway for extended length towing sessions. I think the Hurricane will be just like this!
