Por generaciones, quienes pierden la vida quedan atrapados en su forma de muertos vivientes por toda la tierra de Penumbra, atormentando y desolando nuestro mundo. Los Firelights, quienes guiaron a los muertos hacia el Velo, se quedaron atrás. Pero, aún hay esperanza. Su último capullo acaba de eclosionar bajo la atenta mirada de los Guardianes. Eres el último de los Firelights. Deberás viajar entre grandes grupos de criaturas sin vida, encender todas las almenaras del mundo y guiar a los muertos hacia el Velo una vez más.
