It's June of 2022. My PC had to be updated to Win11, so the menu bar for my Corel Graphics Suite X5 disappeared! Thank you for this amazing fix! I can now use my 11 year old Corel program, which still works like a charm!!!!

I realise menu bar's customization is similar to that of Rhinoceros(3d modelling software) except, only an image can be used for buttons appearance , never ran into such problem on rhino, so never thought duplicating the buttons will solve it but it did. From 2023 I thank you. I finally HAD to go to Win10 from Win7 because another software I use no longerr supported under Win7. I bought X18 and hated it... I have used CorelDRAW! since 3. Updated for 5 went back to 3, bought 6 and loved it, used it til CorelDRAW 10, bought 12 dumpstered it. Tried X3, meh. X5 yuk. X6 I really (still) like. I bought X18 and hated it... Now with the "subscription software" business model... I am highly unlikely to leave X6.
I had the same problem. And most fixes did work for a few days and I had to do it again all over. The main reason is since with Vista and Win 7 you had the AERO option. But under windows 8.0, 8.1 and Win 10 wou could sneak back the AERO for a while. But with Win 10, after a certain Build the AERO feature couldn't be back. Ok you may try each of the band aid solution in this video. But the only way to really fix this issue is to upgrade your version of Coreldraw to the X8 version and you won't ever have that issue of loosing the menu bar. Now if you still use Corel Draw X4, X5, you shouldn't use Win 10, X6 works under Win 10 but X6 And if you really want to use Windows 10 and beyond,, Corel Draw X7 is the bare minimum on Windows 10.
+lepompier132 Yes, I think you are right - if I remember correctly, start from Corel X7, menu panel color problem for Win 10 resolved. But for me the best versions of Corel are Corel 12 and Corel X6 , maybe Corel X8 also, but I am still didn't working with this version. So if I don't want change the Corel version, and my OS updated to Win 10 , I didn't found any best way for resolved selected problem - I think that selected in video method will provide result forever. +sandeep shukla Hi. You should 1). Before drag and drop in "Tools > Customization > Command Bars" for new added command bar in "Default Button Appearance" select "Caption Only". 2). Then go to "Commands" submenu ("Tools > Customization > Commands"). 3). From command list can drag and drop any command to your new command bar (meny bar), BUT if you need have a same as your unvisible menu bar, you should drag and drop commands from your old menu bar. 4). During the drag and drop from old menu bar HOLD Ctrl+Alt If not problem with Corel, it will be added and you can see it. Maybe your mouse not worked correctly and have problem with click and hold via mouse... I don't know... This method working on many PC and not only in X6, also in X5...
In Corel X6 Home and student can not do this. Someone can provide a ready menu bar. I am asking for instructions on how to upload it to corel draw X6. I don't have the Customization - Command Bar option.
@Pronix Hi. If I remember correctly in CorelDraw possible only export-import "Workspace". I am exported workspace from "normal" X6 (menu has black background and white letters) in which available new added menu bar also. You can download it via drive.google.com/open?id=1fmoq7z3ULr-JxAEws7_hECHGDxVNVzbr link I am not sure it will help or not, but you can attempt import it, maybe it will help, BUT YOU WILL DO IT TO YOUR OUN RISK because there are different version of Corel Draw.
That's all fine & dandy... but you're still missing the buttons to the far right (minimize, restore, & exit). Where do you get those? When you have multiple files open, how can you toggle between them? You can't.

Run them and your Menu bar is vissible.
