Hello guys this video is about first train travel of 130dn Thall express train from rawalpindi railway station to multan
thal express is one of the oldest train of the region, people of south punjab use to travel by this train,
Thall express was suspended since last 4 years and it was very difficult to travel on main line 2,
I Travelled on 130dn Thall express and filmed throughout the train route, it passed through attock city and seven sister tunnels at ml2,
then train passed through dawood khail, mianwali,piplan,kundian,bhakkar,leiah,kot addu,muzaffar garh
there was a locomotive failure at golra sharif junction, PHA20-8304 was failed and stopped then another locomotive PHA20-8306 arrived to rescue Thall express.

جہاں تک مجھے یاد ہے۔ یہ ریل اسی کی دہائی میں شروع ہوئی تھی۔ اس کا پرانا نام مہر ایکسپریس تھا۔ ہم ہر سال اس میں کوٹ ادو سے راولپنڈی جایا کرتے تھے۔ بعد میں اس کا نام عطااللہ ایکسپریس ہو گیا اس کے بعد ایم مرتبہ پھر اس کا نام بدل کر تھل ایکسپریس رکھ دیا گیا تھا۔ میں نے آخری بار نومبر1991 میں اس پر سفر کیا تھا۔
مہر ایکسپریس (عطاء اللہ ایکسپریس) مڈ نائٹ ایکسپریس ہے جو اس وقت سے اب تک چل رہی ہے یہ دن کے وقت ٹریول کرتی ہے

Good Job again Faheem Bhai. In olden days this Train use to Run from Multan to Attock city as THAL FAST PASSENGER hauled by Steam Locos. it use to start from Multan at 9-0 PM.

Well sir have seen the whole compilation,so after all my speculation in earlier video was correct about 8304 failure at golra, I would say probably this route means a lot to you as it passes through your home town and also the stations related to your childhood memories.....talking about the coaches, even though PR doesn't manufacture coaches, only refurbish them, but the refurbished coaches from inside looks more fascinating, much more tha CNR coaches indeed, so still we need to appreciate that PR have improved a lot in that term.... And about the route yes, its obviously it needs instant upgradation, looks like the rails used in this line is 90RE in loops , what rails used in mainline???, and almost no balast specially after starting of thall desert,but you might know tha fact heavy density sand can also used as good alternative of ballast, as they upload the rails well... Anyways great compilation sir, you captured every large stations possible, even in fasting stage... So keep it up cheers

Never seen this route before, absolutely beautiful. The Sohan River reminds me of the Chambal River after Gwalior when one is traveling by train from Bhopal to Delhi.

Lovely, thanks for showing daudkhel Station, brought back all the childhood memories as we used to live there and father was in one of the industrial units. If possible please cover daudkhel in detail and the colony in which its located, used to travel in Hitachi railcar from duadkel to pindi.

Beautiful and very enjoying Video, made great Hard Work and Effort with good description, were that the Travel would have been till Multan. Locomotive Failure is Sad happening these Locomotives are 30 Years Old and should now be Re Habilitated in Moghalpura Work Shops. The Train Journey has given us beautiful Scenes Like Seven Sister Tunnels and Sohan River Bridge the Thall Area is Sandy and not likened alike greenery. I traveled on this Route during 1974 from Darya Khan to Multan that Train travel was during Day Time 8 00 A.M and arrived Multan by 3 00 PM Then Steam Locomotive 2700 Series used to work the Train, any how this is an Enjoying Video Thanks for this Great Effort and letting us enjoy. Allah Keep Our Trains Running and benefiting People of Our Country.

بہت ھی زبردست ۔ فہیم کمال کی ویڈیو بنائی ھے یہ۔۔ کیا کیا یاد نہیں کروایا اس ویڈیو میں بچپن کے حوالے سے ۔۔کس کس بات کا ذکر کروں ۔۔ پپلاں ۔۔ کبھی دن کے اجالے میں موقع نہیں ملا تھا ۔۔ اس دور میں مہر ایکپریس سابقہ عیسی خیلوی ایکپریس ۔۔ سہہ پہر 3:45 پر پنڈی سے روانہ ھوتی ۔۔۔۔ اس لئے بہت سارے سٹیشن رات کے اندھیرے میں مس ھوجاتے ۔۔ ویران علاقوں سے گزرتی ٹرین ۔۔ رات کی خاموشی کو چیرتے ھوئے ۔۔ ٹٹا ٹن ٹٹا ٹن ثنا ٹن کئ صحراہ میں آوازیں کبھی خوف کبھی سسپنس ۔۔ ۔۔ کبھی جوش ۔۔ ٹنل میں جیسے ھی ٹرین داخل ھوتی یکدم اندھیرا اور خوفناک آواز پیدا ھونا اور ڈر کے مارے امی ابو کے ساتھ چپک جانا ۔۔ دریا کے پل سے آواز---- گزرتے ھوئے ایسا محسوس ہوتا انجن میوٹ ھوگیا ھو ۔۔ آپ نے اتنی خوبصورتی سے اس سفر کی روداد بیان کی کے دل عش عش کر اٹھا کہ تھل ایکپریس کے اس سفر کی آپ سے بہتر منظر کشی کوئی نہیں کرسکتا ۔۔ بھکر سٹیشن کے ساتھ میرا ذکر کرنے کا دلی شکریہ ۔۔ 🙏❤️❤️ خوش رہیں آباد رہیں ۔۔

Beautiful siting....aapki videos mujhe boring nahi lagti kyunki aapki info wali commentry chalti rahti hai...but I must say ki ML2 ki haalat bahot hi kharab hai...matlab train ki speed 20-30 km/hr rahti hai...Aaj kal bike ki speed avg 50-60km/hr rehti hai...PR ko iss taraf jyada tabajju Deni padegi...bas nayi nayi train inaugurate karne se kuch fayada nahi hoga agar Tracks ki yahi surat-e-haal rahni hai...but as always nice vlog Faheem Sir 👍👍❤️❤️

finallly faheem bhai ne ek or wish poori ker di is area ko daylight main dekh dia specially daud khel se agla section.shru main thori disappointment hui k ap ne yard side cover ni ki specially kundian or daud khel mianwali ki but jb apne kaha k next time cover keruga to excitment barh gai. kundian shed bhi dekhaye ga if possible..tracks ki halat dekh k afsos hua, ab khud sochen k kon train py 30 km ki speed py safer kre ga jb k by road wo 120 ki speed main 2 ghanty main mianwali phnch sakta. trains k fail hone ki ki ek bari wja ye bhi ha
This train service started as 'Bilal Express' from Kundian Jn to Multan and vice versa in the summer of 1999. It was inaugurated by the then railway minister Ghulam Haider Thind who belonged to Layyah. Afterwards the train route was extended to Rawalpindi via Fateh Jang branch line and named Thal Express.
