Porto Bellago is a community development on the Gold Coast that is a replication of the famous fishing village Portofino in Italy.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!

It is a luxury place. I have heard of the place but I haven’t been there. It looks like European city. It is very nice. But I would like to enjoy Australia rather than Europe when I visit Australia.
Hi @orangemikan100 😊 yes, it sure is a luxurious place and not for everyone. We really enjoyed walking around because we hadn’t visited Sanctuary Cove for years.

WOW! What can I say? Porto Bellago is amazing. I don't know if it was the video itself or the music you played, but I felt like I was really in Italy. I have always wanted to go to Italy as I grew up with Italians in the 60s and 70s when they were here working on the Tongariro hydro scheme. Thank you for making me feel so happy 🥰😊🥰
Hi Carol, yes it was amazing….so much detail and even the Café where we had coffee was filled with delicious Italian foods 😋 Australia also was fortunate with many Italian immigrants making Australia home in the 50’s and 60’s 🤗
My girlfriend and I were so tempted to play the chess on steroids at Sanctuary Cove last month when we were there LOL.
What was your favorite thing about visiting? We do love travel too and invite you to follow our journey!
