Gold one is for wood. Silver ones for heavy duty (metal, concrete...)

This method works only if the paint is done with lime power. In older building this used to paint because it's cheaper but wall protection won't be there. For fiber cement you better try pressure washer to remove. Will do a video on the this next week
Well done bro.. liked and supported.. how does wire brush attachment compare to 60 grit sandpaper disc for removing old paint? Which is more effective?
If the wall is ruf then wire brush is the best option that too if it's lime powder painted. If the wall is smooth then 60 grit will work. If the wall is painted with emulsion paint then both will not work you have to use either paint remover or heat gun machine. There is a video on paint remover with heat gun in our channel you refer. @@diyguide4049 Thanks my friend.. you make a lot of sense there.. very knowledgeable.. thankfully my wall is not emulsion painted.. it's old rough lime mixed with some color.. hopefully wire brush will suit the job..
When do you use flap disc instead of 60 grit plain sandpaper disc and which is more effective?
@@virathiyam5401 Flap Disc are used for fine finish in metal welding, wood sanding not for wall I believe. Plain sandpaper is used for wall putty finish. You can checkout our other videos for wall crack solutions as well

I haven't heard or done before mostly plain sandpaper is used

Good tool for the job but I hope he is using a good respirator to protect his lungs, you never know what was in that paint ( lead ) or the cement used 30 years ago,

There is no such brush in market. Also if it wider, machine will start vibrate and controlling is difficult

Useless thing
May be for your usecase it may be useless but for me, it's the best way to get rid of old limestone paints. I did lot of research and found this best for my usecase and just posted to tell this is also one of the way to remove paints.
