A friend of mine was in a band opening for Journey a couple of years ago, and we were backstage and I asked him how this tour was going. He said it was one of the best (out of 50 years!!) and would I like to meet Neil! HELL YES!!! Neil was absolutely one of the kindest souls I've ever met; quiet and humble and so gracious. He gave me as much time as I wanted and brought his wife out to greet me, too. Such a nice man, and showing up for Richard like this is now I realize, so typical of him.
There is something so undeniably special about Richard. It was the encouragement of the school kids that gave him the confidence to audition. Isn’t it amazing how some kind words can change people’s lives? Makes me want to point out the good I see in others, just so they know.
Journey was and has always been a class act, good people, Richard deserved to win this, now go live your dream Richard. But never forget where you came from, Be true, stay humble.
When Neal said in the package that he was coming to play with Richard for the finale he wasn’t gonna come alone that must’ve been really magical to be on stage with a iconic band like Journey
He won’t sing with Journey anymore. I wish he does surprise this man somewhere down the toad, but I don’t think he’ll ever share the stage with Neal Schindler again.

Good for him, that he won. But to maintain and sing professionally He could never do it. You could practice a song and be really good at it. But to sing bunch of Songs is hard but congratulations. And when you're with journey, you are gonna sound better They are pros.

Not only the night after night pace, but the vocal chords cant't handle it. It takes a professional that knows how to maintain the voice. You may have noticed very few at his age can & it's only the top professionals that do. Not to knock him, he seems like a great guy, but doesn't look healthy enough for it.
I’m in Uganda, Africa. I’ve been at the lowest points of life several times, friends come, take and go, I’m a ‘family reject’ because at a certain time I wasn’t good enough. I’m Watching a 55+ old man finally making it at AGT, I won’t stop believing too, i can be with friends who will never leave, i can get a supportive family, i can be a darling somewhere and it doesn’t matter how long it takes, For all the pain I’m going through, I won’t stop believing😢.

Watching this video, I trully believe Journey got as much fun out of this as Richard did. If you look at the smiles on their faces the whole time they were singing, they were having the time of their life.
