    Thank you for doing this!
Fire kinda freaks me out, so having a safety mechanism like this included in the laser would be a huge pro if i got one. Seeing it in use like this is great, I've been hoping to find a good showcase of how it worked ever since I saw they had this set available in their shop!
I initially thought it only had the CO2 cannisters, and didn't realize there was an actual alarm system with lights and sound attached to it, which only makes it better. Seems like even when you don't have the cannisters because you ran out, you can still use it as, well, an alarm.

Many thanks for watching. One of my pet hates are product review videos that don’t show the product working, so I felt I needed to give it a thorough test.

Interesting safety mechanism. Seems to work without any issue. I would love to see you build a cabinet for the laser with its enclosure and all the accessories.
I'd think of a removable table (the base plate) with the third axis underneath, so you don't have to jack up the laser, every time you want to use it.

It was a bit nerve racking testing it but happily it worked very well. One day I will try and build a dedicated laser station, my biggest problem is the lack of space in my tiny workshop.

@@JimsonMakes I know that problem just too well. I'm about to start my own adventure with creating RUclips content and the beginning series will deal with exactly this problem, not enough space.

Can it still be used without cannisters? I don't know why xtool didnt just implement sensors into the build of their machines tbh. I wouldn't want to keep buying cannisters for fires that I could probably blow out myself

I don’t know if it can be used without cannisters or whether it will stop it being activated. In my testing it took quite a significant burn to activate the gas. Minor fires had no effect but did sound the alarm. I have found the built in flame sensors on other brands of laser to be a nuisance with too many false activations.
