Magnificent catches of the steam locomotive departing from the station, I like it 5 stats. Hearing that puffing and chufing sound and coaches is absolutely crazy. Thumbs up. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, i just liked and subscribed your channel, Greetings from Portugal to the UK.
@@LisbonRailProductionsandF1 I hope it works out for you We have many heritage railways all over the country and in summer almost every week there is a charter train out on the man line somewhere Also lots of great industrial museums to visit.
Good to see you had a trip over to Chester today. I might have been there too if I hadn't been working. Lucky for me , as it was so late, I managed a quick drive to see it at Beeston.
Hi have fired a number of them as well others in my time on the footplate I started in 1961 i did 50 hrs on the railways i finished in 2011 Regards Phil.
Thanks Dave. We went for 10 wheelers big time here. They seemed best for us with tighter curves and less prone to slip with lots of weight on the drivers.
I hate to think how much one costs A few million no doubt. this looks new too. Most of our work is during the night so not easy to get one in action. Not far from me they are dong a huge upgrade on a main line and I have not got to see any of it being done. I came back along there from here and did not see any machines. A few road railers excavators and equipment were track side.
@@ccrx6700 Oh yea About 4 1/2 miles walk then find nothing working there LOL. They are taking a line block for a few miles. I did walk there one day when the line was closed a week and saw nothing that day. I hoped to at least see a train of ballast.

Nice video of the Scot in Chester, and what a nice bonus seeing the HST too.
Thank you Yes I got lucky with the HST. I did not know it was due and had just got to the station. Hurried to get my cam out and turned on there
A magnificent loco - when will we see her back in Carlisle again?
Yes they look and sound good. I hope not too long before she is up there again, it was a nice change from seeing Tangmere almost every time.
Good footage of 46100 Royal scot at Chester thanks Tony Simpson

Saw the Royal Scot when it was working the West Coast mainline through Kenton in the late 50's pulling the same LMS livery coaches...
Nice memory. I vaguely remember coaches in that livery most were in maroon
@cedarcam
As She would be if in LMS colors pulling a rake of LMS coaches in maroon.
Here in BR green with coaches of BR 'blood & custard'
Amazing video 👏
Amazing you watched it in 18 seconds of being published LOL
