I flew Qatar Airlines Auckland to Doha on my way to Africa in 2018, and stopped in Doha Airport for 3 hours.
Absolutely top quality, fantastic service, warm and friendly atmosphere, and the 17 hour flight was a pleasure rather than a problem.
Qatar is somewhere I would like to visit again and go beyond the airport for a few days. 🙆🏻♀️ 😊 💖 🌿 👍🏾

She is a force of nature! But a lot of work has to be done in Qatar with human rights abuses and those poor workers from third world countries that have been treated so appallingly. Where is the foundation for their rights and well being? So much glitz and glamour with the Royal family. But outside of that, it's a different reality.
Work have to be done everywhere for human rights unfortunately even in so called democratic countries let alone non democratic...
I was in Qatar forc7 yrs and came back to my country very recently. Everything you say about poor workers rights are so false. Enough things given to workers for their well being. I'm sure you must have seen pictures of slums like places where labourers who are not employed by anyone but are in Qatar looking for work. Employed workers that come to Qatar legally are receiving every benefit. Its a lovely country to stay and work. Food prices are very cheap, anyone can survive. They have their own strict rules and it is expected everyone to follow those or you will end up in jail. Fair enough, it's their laws and as one is a foreigner there, you have to follow them. Pls visit Qatar before giving your opinion. I'm on the retirement age so I had to leave or else I'm more than willing to spend rest of life in Qatar definitely. It was a second home to me and if God gives me another chance to there, I won't think twice. Qatar is the top best country in the middle East, million times battercthan Dubai even.
