    Are you really complaining about having $3k into a car? It was $35-$44k new!
    Of course it's going to have issues, it's 20+years old!
    I guarantee I'd smoke that piece of shit Neon in any Legend I've ever had.
    Fix the issues and it's a great car!

    i will take a acura anyday versus a neon. i own a 11 yr old Acura MDX 2011, with 100K miles and I am about to invest on radiator flush, new belt and water pump, breaks and new tires and I should be able to do another 100K miles trouble free. you need 3-5K to bring it up to good running condition

    I bought my legend with 87k miles, the fucker is like new, absolutely no problems, only had to change an alternator.

    Stopped caring when you said "you can buy a nice reliable car for 1500, civic, neon, etc". Sorry, kind of don't have a clue.

    I had the same issues--water pump, radiator, a bunch of hoses with my car, cv axles, fuel pump relay, I've all had to replace. Sick ride, but it hurt my wallet. Your exterior looks to be in really good condition though! Super nice paint. I miss my original paint. I really agree with your final point--this car taught me a lot of about cars .

    How many miles did your 1995 Acura Legend have on it when you made the video? Do you still own the car?

    LOL, I like your video. You Polish? I had a 1995 Acura Legend L and I still miss it. It had a broken AC compressor that kept braking, but other than that, I put 170k on it with ZERO issues. I moved up to a Lexus, but wish I kept this car. Don't sell it!

    You should've asked about the timing belt before buying and had $600 knocked off the price if belt is close to needing replacement.

    I got a 1994 legend and have spent 5k into it. Only spent 2k on it but it had 250k miles on it. It’s a great car though and I will never part ways with her.

    Car people buy cars like this because they look forward to replacing parts and keeping the car alive and well, or better. If you don't do the work yourself, everything is expensive. Comfortable and fast. The Legend is a Legend!

      No, my car doesn't at the moment, but it has in the past and I had to repair them. I've done the job twice before, once with engine out and once with engine in. You should be ok if you keep your EGR clean, that is what causes the BHG. Mine was totally clogged when my gaskets blew and I got them all cleaned out. Probably time to do it again.

    Like any old car it will have issues, depending of course how well it was looked after before. I'm on my second Gen.2 Legend which is a 1991 saloon. It was one owner till August 2015 and very well looked after. I love the cars and since having it I've replaced for piece of mind all belts including cam belt, water pump, crank seals, crank idle sensor and main fuel relay. That should give it more years of reliable motoring. It has been very reliable and as never let me down, like my first Legend which was a 95 model in dark green - that was super reliable as well. I think there still very handsome looking cars. I've recently purchased a low-mileage near mint 1989 2.7 Legend Coupe, again full service history and pampered by its first owner - I'm giving it to my brother who will appreciate it.

      I love Legend so much and I got two of them, One GS from my cousin, I spend more than $4000 fix and maintenance mostly repair done by myself. Car didn't let me down, Drives great! Recently I got a rare 95 6spd coupe about a month ago for my collection. It's great car too. Well you do need to pay attention on EGR. Especially the EGR pipe. I found both of two car got EGR pipe complete clog by carbon deposit. Clean it and the engine will serve you VERY LONG TIME!
      For cup holder, my 6 spd even doesn't have one. My GS seden has just same problem like you, You can easily lock it and put your water bottle next to the seat belt fastener .
      This is the best car that Honda ever made. Consider it's 23 years old. You will love it if you care it.

    LOL you bought an old car from the 90's and didn't do your homework, had you done so, you would of read about all the common failures and preventative maintenance an older car like this one needs. You sound very new to the car game and learned the hard way.

    • @elgeneralxx

      Did exactly what he did with the same exact car. Now I'm stuck with it and don't want to get rid of it. Live and learn

  • @danielmelendez9943

    your audio is horrible, the review is all over the place. that car is 25+ yrs of course it will need a lot of work. engine overhaul, gaskets ball joins, belt and water pump along with a new radiator is a necessary amount of maintenance. the legend can go well over 200K miles if taken care of.

  • @MisterrJmark

    Full of trash, I own an older Acura Vehicle (01 Acura TL 3.2). Vehicle with a known transmission defect. I have over 230k miles on it with no issue and the car still runs and drives great.
    You are nickpicking on the most mundane things, it is an older car which takes time and effort to fix. This car is a classic. Get rid of it, or fix it, just stop complaining

    Did I just hear you say that interior is better than any lexus? Have a seat in my 95 LS400, you'd take those words back. No acura of the era could compete.

    • @bleachstain9785
      @bleachstain9785 3 года назад

      The Legend is the reason your car even exists. Take a seat bruh. The KA9 Legend was perfectly more competitive to the LS series in the aspect of comfort, but the Legend always took the cake in terms of performance.

    • @DanWeinbrand
      @DanWeinbrand 3 года назад

      @@bleachstain9785 I'd gladly take a seat in my LS400 lol.... don't know what you're referring to... LS was built to compete with European cars...the legend has nothing to do with the LS400s existence. You want to bring up performance when 90s era Toyota is in the conversation? Really?... Also what performance are you referring to when it's FWD V6 vs. RWD V8??? Lol...

    • @bleachstain9785
      @bleachstain9785 3 года назад

      @@DanWeinbrand line it up against my bone stock KA9 then and eat your words pal. 🤷🏻‍♂️ the entirety of the Japanese Luxury Market would not exist without the Acura Legend and Integra having paved the way, that includes Lexus, that includes Infiniti. 🤷🏻‍♂️ don’t hate because your car was made to compete with a Honda bro. And again, line it up if you’re so confident. I take Euro cars with ease, it’s hilarious.
      Fwd V6 sure, but longitudinally mounted. It has RWD proportions without the need for it. It’ll smoke your shit but you’re all talk.

    • @DanWeinbrand
      @DanWeinbrand 3 года назад

      @@bleachstain9785 id actually love to do that but too bad were on the internet. You should check the specs and 0-60 times on both cars and stop talking lol. I also own a 98 LS400 and 01 GS430. Check the specs on those too while you're at it.
      It's not about the speed anyways, and regardless who paved what way, the lexus and toyota of the 90s beat out honda acura in terms of luxury quality and durability. Nothing to be mad about its just a fact. If you're denying that you're delusional
      You take down euro cars? What kind? VW rabbits? Whatever your RL could do, a V8 lexus will do it better.
