I grad. in '74 with a guitar degree from Hartt College... in the 45 years that have passed, I'm happy to say that the guitar virtuosi have improved decade over decade. I love so many contemporary players; S. Jones, K. Park, A Vidovic, et al. There all great. None better than Andrea. Period. Her playing is remarkable on every level; Musicianship, Tone, Technique... Just unbelievably great. I'm grateful that (at 68) the great lifeguard left me in the pool long enough to discover her.
WOW! Andrea Gonzalez Caballero displays total virtuosity in rendering this very difficult piece. If this doesn't knock your socks off, you aren't wearing any.

I think she is italian, I like her being so brilliant and down to earth at the same time, this adds to her attraction. Lovely spirit.
I can't think of a player who performs this piece with such apparently effortless musicality, clarity, precision, soul and pure panache. Not a single note is glossed over or neglected, and there is such vitality. What a flawless technique combined with real flare. Stupendous!

Although I am not a professor in guitar or teacher or whatever, just a hobbyist, it immediately is clear that we are listening to a new ashtonishing level of guitar playing, as well as interpretation of this Danza. Thanks for bringing musical light in a world that's getting darker, miss Caballero!

Aunque mi guitarrista favorito siempre será Julian Bream, estas ejecutantes de guitarra que he visto últimamente: Andrea Gonzales y Gohar Vardanyan y Paola Requena.
