Hi! congratulation!!!! Could you tell me "more or less" when is going to be the release of the ALPHA, BETA AND GAMMA or Release Candidate?? like every 3 months? all expected this 2024? this is important for many people to take important decisions, because many are waiting since the final of 2022, THANK YOU!! please only to have an idea.......
Hi Nick, thanks for the update. Please, You need to add a CPT capable carousel/slider to Divi before the Final Release ! That's the main hardly missing module in Divi.
@@Pleasebepleasant The plugin approach is not a win for ET, because, every builder out there has a slider/carousel: Bricks builder, Breadance Builder, Brizy, Elementor... the Chat GPT idea is not bad but if I can do it that easy why is ET not doing that easy ?
why your website : elegant theme is not made with Divi? It’s still shameful, you are the only theme developer who doesn’t even use your theme. this shows a lack of involvement 😢 I hope you use divi 5 for your website in 2024
🙏Thank you sooo much for the dark mode interface! As a human plagued with migraines, dark-mode can often mean the difference of being able to continue or not.
Yes, it will be easy to update. There will be a button you click to convert your website to the new format, and all of your existing designs will function normally on the new version. The old framework will also stick around for a while in the background and be conditionally loaded if old shortcodes are detected, just in case.

It s great! Of cource I am waiting for the Public Alfa to test Divi 5 in my local server and create the translation updated to Divi 5. Thank you!
What is "Much More" news besides the speed thing on front-end and visual builder? That's disappointing that you miss your own deadlines/marks! Am I expecting a lot? It's spring 2024!!
The "more" referred to the items we worked on over the past month: 80 bugs fixed, updated to React 18, UI design overhaul, dark mode, and color schemes, and progression on Global Colors, Presets, and Layers view.
@@elegantthemes right, dark mode and color scheme were new. I thought "much more" refers to things that we didn't expect. Fixing bugs/React upgrade or re-adding the same V4 features are something I would just skim over a log file.
No offence, Nick, but it’s bordering on farcical now. I was a DIVI user for 6 years and simply had no choice but to switch to another builder (Breakdance) last year and it was the best move I ever made. The speed is insane. I held off patiently for so long and just had to bite the bullet. The lack of features like flex and divs etc etc is simply unforgivable in a modern builder and by the looks of things people will still be heavily reliant on third party plugins (bloat) to get functionality that should be natively available. I wish you all the best with DIVI but honestly, you guys have left it way too long and these incremental “progress” updates just aren’t doing you guys any favours.
Divi needs a speed and optimisation update very much. It is very frustrating by working with it every day. For example: You click something and nothing happens. Can't wait for the update.
DIVI is and will always be garbage. Always needing to use CSS and all kinds of hacks to make it work properly, especially when it comes to responsive design.
Having the device tab is all well and good. But we still need a better way to handle media queries in CSS for when those devices are switched to landscape
Im very disappointed .. firstly you said divi 5 will be launched before end of 2023 .. then first quarter of 2024, now you are saying demo will be launched after one month so the public version at least two months ..
We've never committed to a release date. We estimated that the Public Alpha would be ready in Q1, and we did miss that goal, but we are close. We are doing everything we can to finish Divi 5 as soon as possible, but we can't rush such a big update.
Bro, they never said anything of the sort. Divi 5 will not be released before 2025, that much is clear to anyone who knows the tiniest bit about how tech companies communicate.
Just checked and it's been literally a year since I posted about the Divi 5 beta on Reddit and we don't even have an alpha yet... I've been a yearly ElegantThemes subscriber for 13 years now but I might finally have to switch to something faster (Bricks? Breakdance?) because clients are always badgering me about how slow Divi is..
C'mon release it already. Creating websites at this point (version 4.x.x) has become very frustrating. I really hope Divi 5 is something else. Can't wait!
when can we run Divi without wordpress? WordPress is 20 yr old project way past its prime. Personally, I think a better approach is you install Divi on your web host and then you install a CMS module, a CRM module, a funnel module, etc. Now that AI is getting good enough to write code, we just need an AI engine in the background that can install the backend services we need and use Divi to skin it.
Hi Nick, thanks for the update and we hope it match the Google speed needs and may add skeleton screens for lazy load elements. Please, You need to add carousel/slider and can create own modules in Divi with easy steps
I bought the Divi theme and created 2 websites with it. However, I am feeling frustrated and let down by the modules provided in the Divi theme. It's disappointing to invest in a theme like Divi and only have access to a limited set of modules. The lack of flexibility to personalize the Divi theme is a significant downside. It might be more advantageous for me to consider using a free theme and constructing a website with Elementor instead. I encourage the Divi team to expand their range of modules to allow for more customization based on individual preferences. While some designs can be modified using CSS, if extensive custom coding is necessary, it defeats the purpose of using a theme.
Speaking from experience with both, Divi has much more flexibility than Elementor (both the free and paid versions of Elementor). Elementor has a few modules that Divi doesn't and vice versa, but Divi has so much more flexibility for customizing those modules, especially for mobile devices. If you need more modules, you might check out some of the Divi extensions, as there are some pretty nice third-party add-ons (the same is true for Elementor).
GTA 6 will come out before DIVI 5 🤡
I also think
And it will be more fun than Divi 5 😅
It's better to wait than getting incomplete project
GTA 6 will run on Divi😅

Flexbox please. We need a good header builder. Thank you for the update
so its the 5th movie about how fast and fantastic it will be. but WHEN? will it be ready in this decade? Come on guys...
This is very good question, WHEN???????

I've been holding off redesigning several websites until Divi 5 release because I don't know if I'll have to do it all over again when it does.
You won't have to redo anything! Go ahead and build using Divi 4, and you can update to Divi 5 when it is released.

Why do Video Backgrounds not work in Divi? (RUclips and mp4)
Divi 5 makes Divi 4 look really bad
