City of Tualatin: A City of Transformation

Over the past 100 years Tualatin has transformed from a small, agricultural community along the Tualatin River anchored by a smelly dog-food factory into a thriving and economically diverse community.
The city has transformed its gateway from a strip club to a world-class regional retail destination. Tualatin has transformed hazelnut orchards into high-tech businesses and high-paying jobs. This has not only been a physical transformation, but a transformation of the people in our community.
The city is working on improving transportation and is committed to engaging the community as whole as the city continues to grow. The future is bright for Tualatin.
