Sorry for the dumb question I'm new to Ableton. Can this device be used to trigger any sample or synth live? Or is it only capable of triggering the included augmented percussion sounds live and recording midi which could then be pasted into other racks?
WHAT!? Mind-blowing stuff! 🤯 Any tips on materials for better flex? Maybe lead with that ball-drop video - nothing sells the human factor like watching physics in action! ✨
Thaaanks! I'm not sure I understand your question… Are you asking about materials that might make the ball bounce more? I have a video on my personal Instagram/TikTok account (@mafo.wav) where I use a cut-out piece of balloon stretched over a plate and let a marble bounce on it, which triggers notes using an early version of this plugin. If you mean materials in general, Augmented Percussion performs best on objects with minimal resonance. For example, if you're using it on a drum kit with high resonance (where the drums make long sounds), I recommend placing a piece of fabric or cloth over the drums to create a shorter sound, allowing AP to respond more effectively.
@@art-thou-gomeo Thanks! The possibilities are nearly endless… I’ve even used it with bottles that I set outside on rainy days, letting the raindrops trigger notes as they hit the bottle!
I will buy and start using this first thing tomorrow!
Great stuff!
@@martenhillbom2460 Thanks for your support! 🙌🤖🥁
Absolutely great. Congrats!
Thaaaanks! 🙌
absolutely wonderful! what kind of mic are you using here?
@@RababaInc Thanks! 🙌🥁 that is a contact mic (also known as piezo pickup or piezo mic) and that one is the korg cm300
Hola, funciona en ableton 11? saludos, muy increible
@@davidalejandrobarragananto6251 si, funciona en ableton 11. De hecho yo lo hice en ableton 11 antes de poder actualizarme al 12. Gracias! 🙌

Yes ofc, however the point of the video is just to demonstrate Augmented Percussion 😅
sick !

I'm particularly super impressed with the bottle demo with the hands actually....

does this only work in ableton?
Yes. Although you could probably use in Max 8 as a stand alone thingy.
Yes, that's right. Only for Ableton Live Suite or Max MSP
look up what max for live is.,
