Maybe so. but I play with a team ~all Japanese except for 2 people~ of up to 17 people...and only 1 person shoots right handed off their right foot. I might be wrong , but I feel the players that I saw on the vid would all be better players if they changed leads...especially their long game. I hope that one of the players tries for just 10 throws and comments in this section when their time allows!

It's not uncommon in Japan! Players who want to keep their arm perpendicular to the ground tend to do so.
